i dont mind really. If spiderman was steeped in realism surely he woul be firing organic webbing from his anus which personally i aint down with.

i always remember Nicholas Hammond as spiderman and his webshooter and how great they were as a kid.

Ah, yes! It was so bad it was good. The funky 70s music, the mute Spider-Man karate chopping no-name bad guys, and web shooters that shot rope and nothing resembling webbing at all.

I had one on VHS that was a hash of two episodes to make a serial. "Enter The Dragon" or something it was called, that saw Spider-Man travel to China. I can't remember what the reason was though.

It was called The Dragon's Challenge

It was to help an old friend of J Jonah Jameson who was framed as a spy I remember this one as Spiderman had his mask taken off and the Chinese man's daughter was the only one who knew who he really was this had to do with an either plot where her father was attacked and Peter ran away (he went to turn into Spiderman) and she thought he was a coward.

Yes! Prompting the great line, "That yo-yo just jumped out the window!"

I did hear a few rumours that Hammond was going to return as Spiderman in the early 90's he was going to be in one the Hulk Movie's (there was at least 3 more planned) as one of the crossover but Bill Bixby died so that put an end to that the other crossover's was going to be She Hulk and Iron Man.

I remember seeing an interview on TV back in the early 90's just before Bill Bixby died and it did say the She Hulk was going to be in it the script had even been pretty much finished I think they were only weeks away from filming before he got ill

I remeber from those hulk: Tv series/movies they did some cross overs with daredevil and THOR, not to sure about the others though.

I used to rent those original spiderman movies when i was kid, and they were awesome. The only bad thing was the mask was attached to the top, so he would be half starkers when he changed into spiderman!

I mostly base all my spiderman knowledge on the 1990's cartoon though, which was great!

They only got around to Thor and Daredevil before Bixby's death

Each one was supposed to lead to a spin off series for the other character and a revised Spiderman series.

Are you sure? In The Dragon's Challenge his mask is just a normal head mask like you would expect. I think you got the wrong version ;)

Indeed. I grew up with that as a child.

i think at least one of the movies its attached......as i remember him having to take his shirt off, or maybe i was thinking of some sort of spiderman porn or something. Bar that i remeber it being very good for a kid who'd at that time only ever seen the spiderman 60's cartoon!
