Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted February 24, 2012 Moderators Share Posted February 24, 2012 Who sits and watches films on Youtube? I've never understood it. What a terrible way to watch a film.
King Pitcos
Who sits and watches films on Youtube? I've never understood it. What a terrible way to watch a film. Â I feel exactly the same way, although there's no logic to it, really. If something's on Youtube in decent quality (that upload linked above is at 240p, so it's not), then it's just the same as watching something on Netflix or iPlayer or whatever. But I still don't do it.
Paid Members Halitosis Romantic Posted February 24, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted February 24, 2012 Depends, really - I'm not going to risk downloading something at work, or onto my work computer, so I often go through the public domain (or not) movies for free on YouTube. Paid Members ReturnOfTheMack Posted February 24, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted February 24, 2012 I watch a lot of stuff online as it means I can wear my headphones as not to disturb my wife when shes ill, and I dont (yet) have a Netflix account. And that Youtube one was easy enough to find, watch and link people to.

What a terrible way to watch a film. Â What if it's a film you can't find anywhere else, or a film you don't have but are desperate to watch? I watched Someone's Watching Me! the other day - it would have cost me Edited February 24, 2012 by Gladstone Small
Rey_Piste
Plus you have youtube on the 360 now so you don't have to sit there watching stuff on a PC.
King Pitcos
Has anyone watched the Bam Margera film Haggard lately? I remember liking it a lot more than the reviews made me think I would.
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted February 24, 2012 Moderators Share Posted February 24, 2012 (edited) copied and pasted from a much less appropriate thread: Â I saw the film "Murder on the 13th floor" when I was real young. I really enjoyed it - it obviously made enough impact that I remember it to this day. Has anyone seen it more recently and can you tell me if it is actually any good? Paid Members LaGoosh Posted February 24, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted February 24, 2012 (edited) Not recently but I fucking love Haggard. It's unbelievably ridiculous and at times has worst acting than the cheapest of pornos but some of the stuff on it is genius. I love when Brandon Dicamillio calls up Hellboy to cuss his favorite band so as to provoke him into a fight. Â Brandon: Yo, you heard the new Gnarkill album? Hellboy: It's not out yet but if you say one bad thing about Gnarkill I'll pull your fucking face off! Brandon: Oh yeah, well I think they fucking suck! Woo-dee-doo-doo! Â And the diamond bicycle is probably the best prize for winning a competition in a movie ever. Â The second movie they did "Minghangs" is fucking shite though. Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted February 24, 2012 Moderators Share Posted February 24, 2012 (edited) Nah, it seems I mis-remembered the title and it was Nightmare on the 13th Floor. So your post was apt. Â And judging from IMDB it is pretty terrible. Edited February 24, 2012 by Chest Rockwell
Loki
In case people missed it in the 360 thread... Â I just discovered that there's a new free service on the Xbox Live called Crackle, which allows you to stream full, uncut movies in HD for nowt. Â Now, a lot of what they've got is low-budget, C movie crap, but there are a few interesting things on there - like Wild Things which I watched last night; there are loads of old Hammer movie for Richie, there's a Gene Hackman/Dan Ackroyd comedy for Ian, and some Clive Owen action flick for Nev. Â It's worth downloading and checking it out.

No idea why, but I remembered seeing it years ago and looked it up.  It was a made for TV film and it was okay for what it was - and it's on YouTube  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6gzgcz0K-s  Fucking hell, that's well spooky, Chest.
