Ant
Didn't also claim his arms are now 4 inches shorter due to nerve damage? Â Yup I'm sure he did. Being a worker got to take all his claims with a pinch of salt but I'd not be surprised. Â What struck me most about seeing him perform at Glasgow was the size of his neck. It bulges as if he's had one of those flight comfort pillows implanted into it.
Paid Members Scott Malbranque Posted February 3, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted February 3, 2014 So yeah, I don't think you've imagined it, S&M. If you have then I must've as well. Thanks Shogun! I knew I wasn't cracking up! I must go get that Rumble, as I adored tweener Big Daddy Cool, Dizzil back then. He also gave Taker the finger after causing a DQ in Taker's title match against Bret, before it was cool to do so. A wonderful man.
Evo2012
As per my original thread, I was doing a late night time waster YouTube video chain and I was reminded of the old WWF warehouse setting that was used in a few packages over the years. Â It was seen in the late 90s Raw is War intro, the Run DMC/DX music video, Summerslam '98's Highway to Hell video, the Undertaker's Ministry titantron and some late 1999 things with Chris Jericho, Triple H and Kane. Â A Google hunt could only reveal that it was in Brooklyn, I reckon. Does anyone have any further reading on a well used and unique location? twelve_grand
Thanks. So Angle is in the same position as Hogan and can never pass a WWE in-ring medical. I know the wrestling media is a crock but someone should call him on that next time he suggests he wants to wrestle WWe superstars again. I hope he finds some peace but that looks unlikely. Ant
What goes into this WWE medical? Â Just wondering if there's a box that can't be ticked no matter how he can "go" in a gym environment.
Paid Members Fox Piss Posted February 6, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted February 6, 2014 Rey Mysterio linked with a Friends star in 1997? Â Did WCW just make this up or is there something more to it.
EdgarTheSlouch
Rey Mysterio linked with a Friends star in 1997? Did WCW just make this up or is there something more to it.  Apparently it was all made up. Rey wrote about it in his book about how people were coming to him backstage asking and that he doesnt know how it got started.
Paid Members Fox Piss Posted February 6, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted February 6, 2014 Cheers Edgar. Â They just randomly mention it during his opener with Dragon at Spring Stampede 97.
Callum1993
So I was just watching some 2002 Smackdown. What was the deal with WWE changing Val Venis's name to the Big Valbowski? It had always been a nickname up until then but suddenly it became his main name. Weird.
Vamp
I'd suggest they got embarrassed over such a shitty name but then that was the year of Katie Vick so embarrassment wasn't something they felt.
Paid Members bAzTNM#1 Posted February 6, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted February 6, 2014 (edited) Anybody remember that "WWF In Your House: Great White North" PPV with the Diesel vs Bulldog main event in 1995? In the first match between Fatu and HHH, a massive sign appears at the bottom of the screen and is pixel-d out. Anybody have any ideas on what was actually on it? Paid Members bAzTNM#1 Posted February 6, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted February 6, 2014 (edited) Thought it would be bigger than that. Bottom of the screen was all blocked out. Good find there. Thanks a lot! Â ADDED: Talking about the Silver Vision VHS release here. Edited February 6, 2014 by bAzTNM#
Maikeru
Does anyone know of any footage available online of evil Doink tripping the Bossman with a wire in late 1992 (think it was on Superstars or Challenge)? I recall thinking it was hilarious as he really went flying.
