    woke.

Did anyone hear actually read the books as a kid? Its absolutely fine for us to all go "Yeah they were shit! Badly drawn characters and rubbish dialogue!" which I do actually agree with, but then I didn't read them as a child, and love them as a child. My actual children did though. Big difference that. And I'm not saying kids should only accept silly/base/badly written/made/filmed things, but we do often forget we've only ever looked at these things through adult eyes. I loved Biff and Kipper when I was a kid. I'm sure they're not the height of literature. Disgusted at myself for adding to fucking HARRY POTTER discussion. Piss off, all of you.
  2. One for the "shit made up bands thread", Proactive!
  3. SpursRiot condemns you all.
  4. Yeah that definitely adds a good layer to it. Like I say, I like them both, but second Matt edges it. Chaplin "performing" with the band is always brilliant, and Stukes work with Jason in the second series was great. When it cuts to him in the park in his full American football gear, I lost it. Also, never realised the flat was supposedly in Battersea. Not sure where I thought it was though.
  5. I like them both obviously and its close, but Chaplin was far too good looking IMO. Stuke was more pathetic and that helped the character. "I'm bliiiiiind maaaaaaaan"
  6. For reasons known only to myself, I rewatched the entirety of Game On over the last two nights. It hasn't aged as terribly as I thought it would have (obviously an episode called 'Double Hard Bastards and Girly shirt-lifting tosspieces' possibly wouldn't be made today sure) but I felt it was quite a charming throwback watch. The third series was absolutely shite mind. I wanted Martin to die by the end of it. Oh, and also second Matthew > first Matthew. Don't argue otherwise skunk pussies.

Gotcha. Well, unfortunately seeing as all of this comes from her use of Twitter and the hatred she spews on it, this is one conversation you won't be finding out about will it.
  8. Had a look at some other Van Halen albums, and what the hell is this? In fact, they're all shit.

I know you don't "do Twitter" but interested to see whether you have looked at her Twitter account and still don't see the presence of malicious intent.
  10. Absolute fucking nutters. Still at least when he comes back it'll be a Cruyff (re)turn.

A reminder of the most unintentionally funny thing she's ever said.
  12. Absolutely shit, but the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack does genuinely contain some fantastic songs.

Is GW Games Workshop? This sounds like some proper nerd shit.
  14. I've pulled my lower back and it's absolutely horrific. Just cannot be in a position that isn't complete agony. Send ibuprofen and crisps.
  15. That's your Mum you're thinking of. Easy mistake to make.
  16. Nice little clip on the Game Genie here. I don't think I ever remember anyone I know having one to be honest.
  17. This just goes to show as always, that anyone who vapes is an utter cunt. Proper fags > Vapes. Always.
  18. Spurs will of course have a massive say in the title race. By seeing which team they can give the biggest goal difference to.
  19. The football threads are absolutely dead these days anyway so feel free to create one for just us next year. Like I said the other day, that was a decent thread where all the big boys played (the Europa League)
  20. So I'm not sure that seems to be something that feels like the start of a reasonable, even handed debate, in fairness. Was a joke to be honest, like most things on here. Thanks for answering though. I don't think I am making a direct comparison to be honest and sure it was Artetas first job, but Ange has never managed at this level before. I suppose you could also look at Klopps first season at Liverpool as well, which wasn't an instant success. Ange is definitely adaptable (I think more than people realise) as we've seen in quite recent games, although I'd like him to be more flexible with his decisions earlier on. Put it this way, I'd rather not lose 4-0 to Newcastle or 3-0 to Fulham, but I'm not worried as I've seen enough to not panic. I'd be tempted to "allow" him next season as well, but this is modern life, that just won't happen for a lot of people. Like I say, a sea change doesn't happen overnight. It didn't for Arsenal, and it didn't for Liverpool.
  21. Bit unnecessary mate. I like debating football on here as there's often a good discussion to be had, so wanted to ask a question and had some points. Maybe I shouldn't bother anymore? And yes probably, which is again why I asked a question to try and debate it. Never mind, like I say I won't bother. God bless Unai.
  22. Quick question and meant in all sincerity since I like you, and you're one of the more sensible Arsenal fans on here. How many times in Artetas first couple of seasons did Arsenal lose quite badly and how long did it take for Arsenal to bed in what they are now doing? This is now his 5th season right? Two 8th placed finishes in a row right? In fact I'm sure Artetas first season was a carbon copy of Anges. First 10 or so really good, then they completely ran out of steam for a bit. No excuse for yesterday, horrendous, but I do think people are missing the point somewhat. You cannot want a complete upheaval and then moan when it's not instant. Even Punky agrees with me! Also I do love that you've just lost a massive game and your first thought is mentioning Spurs đŸ˜† Just a mental fan base. Also, we're beating City. I know it. You know it. Pep knows it. It's inevitable. Also, up the Leverkusen. Fuck off Harry.
