  1. I'm trying all the Tesco Christmas crisps, so you can make an educated decision come December. The Garlic Bread Flavour Wheels are absolutely vile, and taste like what I imagine feet taste like (not my kink Clive) 0/10 The Spice Bag Chicken & Chips are really good, but is it cultural appropriation for the Chinese or Irish (Father Ted is not a racist!) It's more of a general "Chinese" flavour but they are shaped like chips and drumsticks which pops a div like me. 8/10 Pigs In Blankets really nails the sausage flavour, so if you think that's a good thing and sounds nice, you'll like these. I don't think any combo mix will ever beat the M&S ones but these give it a really good go. 8/10 NOW WE'RE TALKING! Brilliantly taste just like pastrami and pickle...but that's a mind trick that then tells you "well that just tastes like a burger" and then before we know it lads, you're 8 again eating a bag of cheeseburger Quarterbacks!!! They're fantastic, buy them. 9/10 I must say I've been impressed with Tescos range and variety when I've been down the seasonal aisle, they seem to be really trying to do lots of different things this year which I admire. I got some camembert ones as well but haven't opened them yet. Had the curry wurst sub as well which was great, but absolutely stinks. I will try and get to another supermarket soon but I've been busy and a massive Tesco is 5 minutes away. Next on the horizons, the Christmas Subway sub, which sounds banging. Haven't been in a Subway for years but needs must. Tis the season!
  2. Yeah, it's still a solid 7/10, I just didn't enjoy it as much this time as I usually do. Tell you what though, Janine in II? Yes please.
  3. Do you know what, I meant fucking Scream 7. I don't know why I thought it was called Seven 7 🙃 Seven is obviously awesome.
  4. To lose back to back penalty shoot outs to PSG and Fleetwood Town is some achievement. I did say that the League Cup needs scrapping. Can I shock you?
  5. Next issue of Inside the Ropes magazine has a really great PAC cover. https://insidetheropesmagazine.com/products/inside-the-ropes-magazine-issue-74
  6. I like it when they fight back. There have been some absolutely awful cancellations/delays over the last week for South Western and one customer started banging on at them about how the weather delays were their fault and as they had the name gaslight in their handle, SWR reply was "gaslight by name, gaslight by nature" which popped me.
  7. Cheers lad!
  8. Spotify have decided that what we all really want is our playlists to be mixed, so we miss the end of the song we're listening to and the next one fading in. And I can't work out how to change it. Fuck off!
  9. Ghostbusters is still one of my favourite films, and I never tire of it, but on this rewatch I've come to the conclusion that even though I like it a lot, Ghostbusters II is a bit crap isn't it? A really shite baddie, I don't like the bit with the Statue of Liberty and it all felt really cheap this time (bearing in mind I've probably seen it 50 times) However, Bobby Brown went all out on that song, so that adds another point, and "WINNNNSTOOOOOOON" gets another as it scared me as a kid. Seven, erm 7 was terrible, but then you already knew that.
  10. Alright Undertaker I didn't say you did. I agree with Devon that this is a bollocks award as I don't think subjective individual awards should be given for team sports, but even putting my Spurs allegiance aside (as to be honest once a player leaves I really don't give a shit) it's impossible to say that over the last year he hasn't earned it. He's a ridiculous player who's had a banner year in his career, and the others on the list haven't come near his level.
  11. He's just signed an extension until 2029.
  12. It's absolutely mental that I look at those players at Manchester United, and think as a Spurs fan who's just watched back to back 17th finishes that I'd only take Mbeumo and Mainoo out of the lot of them. Kobbie, it's time sunshine someone said yesterday that the United purchases in the summer in Santos and Tielemans (also saw someone call him Tieletubby which did pop me) are what you'd expect of us if Levy was still calling the shots, and they're right. Spurs probably paid over the odds in Tonali and Fernandes, but after the buy cheap, buy often method for years, we had to. Uniteds squad is an absolute mess that will take years to fix.
  13. Christ those are some uninspired options.
  14. I just cannot stand him, it's a general distaste rather than anything he said in particular today. Having said that, it'll never happen, but he really shouldn't commentate on United games as he doesn't even commentate, it's just a mental stream of consciousness. "I can't believe what I'm seeing here and it's getting worse the fans are angry, confused, angry, I thought there might be a change and there hasn't been, this is Manchester United, the fans are getting angry, Michael Carrick, made your point, Bruno Fernandes, this is Manchester United, angry fans, confused" etc Proper shit commentator.
  15. I feel so sorry for Michael Carrick, absolutely not his fault and he's a good lad. Hilarious game, but I really feel for him, he looks broken there. He shouldn't have been given the job. Gary Neville can fuck off as well. He's such a cunt.
  16. As of November 1st, Sky will no longer show The Simpsons, which even though I no longer watch the new episodes and haven't for years, is still quite sad. It's part of Sky heritage isn't it, and along with football and wrestling, was one of the biggest selling points back in the day. Came across this 1996 Radio Times article today, written by I assume THE Louis Theroux.
  17. Maisie Symonds with an absolute belter for Brighton yesterday.
  18. My most local team Sholing have got to the FA Cup First round proper and have drawn Salisbury which is a good draw for them, and winnable. Anyway, when a colleague who supports them said it's a shame they didn't draw a big club, and I replied "yeah Leicester would've been good" and he quipped "I said a big club" which goes to show just how far they've fallen in such a short space of time.
  19. Tottenham away, ole ole. About time we went there and took the absolute piss. Only the third win there in my entire life, which is pathetic really isn't it? That was very, very enjoyable. Mathys Tel, I take it all back.

    Work

Just goes to show that talking absolute bollocks pays off, as they called me this afternoon, said I blew them away, they'd actually like to create a special role for me and offered it to me! I was amazed, really thought I'd fucked it. Gonna get a kebab in the rain to celebrate!
  21. If you have HBO Max, they have an absolute ton of classic stand up on there. Currently watching my favourite show ever, Chris Rock Bigger and Blacker. "That ain't Pocahontas, that's Jennifer Lopez!" When I was about 15 I taped it off Channel 4, and had it on a VHS with Jerry Seinfeld I'm Telling You For The Last Time (off BBC2) and absolutely rinsed it for years. I think that tape shaped my comedy tastes more than anything.
  22. On a similar note, are there many more minor annoyances than hand dryers in a public bog that don't work?
  23. For my final meal, I think I'd just ask for 400 packs of Brets crisps.
