So I'm not sure that seems to be something that feels like the start of a reasonable, even handed debate, in fairness. Was a joke to be honest, like most things on here. Thanks for answering though. I don't think I am making a direct comparison to be honest and sure it was Artetas first job, but Ange has never managed at this level before. I suppose you could also look at Klopps first season at Liverpool as well, which wasn't an instant success. Ange is definitely adaptable (I think more than people realise) as we've seen in quite recent games, although I'd like him to be more flexible with his decisions earlier on. Put it this way, I'd rather not lose 4-0 to Newcastle or 3-0 to Fulham, but I'm not worried as I've seen enough to not panic. I'd be tempted to "allow" him next season as well, but this is modern life, that just won't happen for a lot of people. Like I say, a sea change doesn't happen overnight. It didn't for Arsenal, and it didn't for Liverpool.

Quick question and meant in all sincerity since I like you, and you're one of the more sensible Arsenal fans on here. How many times in Artetas first couple of seasons did Arsenal lose quite badly and how long did it take for Arsenal to bed in what they are now doing? This is now his 5th season right? Two 8th placed finishes in a row right? In fact I'm sure Artetas first season was a carbon copy of Anges. First 10 or so really good, then they completely ran out of steam for a bit. No excuse for yesterday, horrendous, but I do think people are missing the point somewhat. You cannot want a complete upheaval and then moan when it's not instant. Even Punky agrees with me! Another perspective is that Israel knew what kind of retaliation they would get when they bombed the diplomatic building in Damascus, knowing full well their defences would be able to intercept the drones sent by Iran, but showing they are once again under "attack" and therefore pushing that victim mentality to the world. You have to admire these sort of chess moves really. It's sometimes quite impressive how they do it.

I've come to terms with green smiley face shirt man and no longer hate him (too ugly an emotion) There was footage of him on the stage at Mania before night 1, so I can only assume he is reserved that seat at all times.
