  1. Oh they had that at our Hollywood Bowl as recently as maybe 2021? Really great experience! My mates didn’t warn me about the gusts of wind so I didn’t warn them about the big puddle of piss I’d left in there.
  2. Our crap ION All-in-One record player gave up the ghost so despite it “not fitting the aesthetic” I convinced my wife to get a proper record player as the replacement. Ended up going with the Audio Technica LP60-XBT which was a little pricey in comparison, and bringing my speakers from my little PS1 CD Player project down until we find some nice bluetooth ones. Took all of 10 seconds before she conceded how much better it sounds. Probably forgot a few since my last post in this thread but over that time we’ve picked up a few new records: Wu Tang Clan - Enter The Wu Tang (36 Chambers) Tribe Called Quest - Low End Theory Buddy Holly - True Love Ways Buddy Holly (some sort of greatest hits one) Ennio Morricone - Music from Fistful of Dollars and A Few Dollars More Paramore - Riot Paramore - After Laughter Stornoway - Beyonder Paul McCartney - Boys from Dungeon Lane Jamiroquai - High Times (Best of Singles) The Beatles - Rubber Soul 2026 Remaster Captain Sensible - Women and Captains First A few of them were expensive HMV deals which were close to online prices but with the convenience of having them. A few were flea market bargains and a few from a local record shop. The money saved on some of them (Ennio Morricone for £1 from the flea market instead of £15 from the record shop) meant most of it evened out. Still an expensive do though. I won’t go on about all of them but I will say Paul McCartney’s new one is a cracker. Really enjoying that, especially the opening track “As You Lie There”. Sadly my new sealed copy was still somehow scratched and skips on one of the tracks so I’m returning it for a swap.
  3. Aw, dude (wipes)
  4. As if the takeaway delivery business wasn’t already a cesspool of hidden fees, high prices, wrong orders and useless dickheads on e-bikes swarming the streets colliding into anything with a pulse, JustEat has now started letting people upload AI images into listings. Obviously it’s working as well as expected, with whatever AI they use being unable to recognise what human food is.
  5. Reddit. Other than here the only social media I use, and at that it's as a lurker in the SquaredCircle, FantasyPL and MLB subreddits and not much else. It's just as toxic as everywhere else.
  6. Absolutely love Ross Kemp in this, already up there as one of my favourite contestants ever. He's such a contradiction. Looks like a hard nut, talks like a soft spoken gentleman, absolutely smashes the physical tasks but someone looks him in the eye in the castle and he starts saying his goodbyes. Word on the street is Richard E Grant worked himself into a shoot and thought the whole thing was a work, and the castle was like the green room where the mask can come off for the actors. He didn't realise til he got the reaction he did that nobody was meant to know. It's probably all bollocks but there has to be some good reason why he would just admit to being a traitor right? Was glad Amol went, I was getting Michael Cole vibes where he's probably a really nice guy but he immediately started going on about being a hard hitting journalist that's covered wars and it's just like alright mate, simmer down it's a party game.
  7. I’ll put it in spoiler tags just in case, in regards to who possibly goes last night between Acaster and Amol (it’s just a guess based on a rumour)

I’d eat just about any of the breakfasts posted in this thread but it’s a good laugh to have a dig isn’t it.

  11. It sounds like daft praise to give, but the first ever live wrestling show me and my mates ever went to was one of the 3CW ones he was on, and knowing nothing about British Wrestling assumed the lad called Pac was just going to be an X Pac tribute. Obviously you only had to see him once to know how far from true that was.
  12. Absolutely awful news. I mentioned briefly in the UKFF anniversary thread I was minorly involved in Britwres as a trainee back around 2005-2007 and this was around the time PAC, while still having matches at working men’s clubs like Billingham Synthonia, was starting to get bookings for Dragon Gate, PWG and ROH. He was the example of someone who made it. As a young lad from the Northeast not much older than me, he had a quality even way back then that stood out amongst everyone else and it was no surprise he was the one making it to greener pastures out the other side. It was very little surprise to see him make it to WWE and AEW. 40 years old is no age to go at all. His friends and family have my condolences.
  13. You just reminded me we watched this a couple of weeks ago and you have the same thoughts as me mostly. The bit you have in spoiler tags went on way too long to remain funny, and then the end stretch felt rushed and all over the place.
  14. Resident Evil (2026) 90 fast paced minutes of slapstick comedy and gore. Like a violent Mr Bean. Don’t care if it wasn’t related to any of the games, I felt it fit into the universe absolutely perfectly and the games nearly all have confusing shit plots anyway so this did it a service ignoring them. Blockers Was worried this wasn’t going to be that good but it ended up being really funny. A lot better than expected. Feels like it’s going to be a Superbad knockoff but comes into it’s own. The Departed Had high expectations of this but it’s a slow slog, even by Scorcese standards. Everyone has mental BAWSTON accents. Turned it off maybe just over an hour in. Might go back to it. The Heat Felt like for a while Melissa McCarthy was in everything and thank god she’s not anymore. Sandra Bullock does not have the charisma to keep up so it’s a one man show. Moonstruck Cemented now as one of my favourite films. A real comfort watch. Smart, funny, a little odd. Despite it being mostly about cheating it has a real romance to it.
  15. To think in another timeline we’d all be celebrating 20 years of OTTER Forum
