Red Light Killings in Ipswich

He's following a pattern. I did my second year dissertation on famous serial killings. If you know the pattern, you know where he's hitting next. The trouble is, to be absolutely certain he is following the pattern I think he is, I'd need to see the evidence, autopsy photos, etc.An education is a wonderful thing. Espescially when you have it and others who don't think they know more than you.

Christ. He's fucking serious.

I'm guessing your grasp of criminology is probably as strong as your selling ability. You may be chubby but you ain't Cracker.
I'm a couple of mods away from degrees in Forensic Pathology and Crime Scene Science with Criminology. And I'm predicted firsts. I'd say my grasp of criminology makes Cracker just look like the shitty TV show it is.
That's really sweet, I'm sure your mother is very proud.Problem is it really doesnt matter what qualifications you do/don't have. Your credibility in this thread is completely shot to pieces by the fact that you genuinely believe that you can solve this crime while sitting on your fat arse watching TV. If it were that easy I'm sure Suffolk police would have a failed wrestler of their own wrapping up the case as we speak.

Sprules should set a clever trap for the killer, but I'd bet that no-one turns up.

You're pretty much right, John. Standard practice dictates that there are three reasons for witholding information: 1) The victims are under the age of 18 (Which they aren't) 2) Risk of inspiring copycats and 3) because the nature of the crimes is 'too grotesque for public consumption.' For example, if the bodies were found with parts missing, heavily mutilated, etc.

You seem to have forgotten one of the most important reasons for witholding information, namely so the police have information which is only known to them and the killer. This is used to weed out false confessions from the local nutcases, and also to corroborate any confession from the actual killer.Guess your credentials aren't as you claim?

Well, I'm clearly more qualified to deal with this than Ipswich CID. I'd have had him by now.

I would be curious to know if the Ipswich CID have ever put on a wrestling show.
Wow... you're high-larious. With the emphasis on high.

Detective Sprules on the case! It'd make a great TV show.

Well, I'm clearly more qualified to deal with this than Ipswich CID. I'd have had him by now. This is what happens when one dpeartment in the British Police Force is supposed to investigate all types of crime - no specialisation.
How exactly would you have had him? The fact is if someone decides one day that he's going knock off 5 pro's in quick succession there really is fuck all you can do about it (without using the benefit of hindsight). Random murders within a specific social grouping are easily the most difficult to solve.

I don't normally go in for random Sprules-bashing, but seriously dude - shut the fuck up. I'm not saying the police are perfect, or that their investigatory techniques are necessarily always the most effective or efficient, but if you've managed to figure out THE PATTERN~! from bits and bobs of sensationalised reporting in the mainstream media, do you really think the professionals, with the expertise of several forces at their disposal, wouldn't have figured it out too, given that they have, y'know, all the evidence?I'm reminded of some of the engineers I work with, too. They deal with a new bunch of engineering graduates every year. These kids come into the job thinking they know it all, because they've read and read and read lots of important, cutting edge theoretical work. Then they get to actually doing something, and all their theory falls to pieces because REAL LIFE IS DIFFERENT. I don't expect a wrestler to grasp those last four words too easily, but seriously, have a look at what you've said and imagine what you'd think if someone else said it.Alternatively, tell us what THE PATTERN~! is, we'll contact Crimestoppers, and you can get all the credit for saving the hookers of Ipswich from further carnage. Or are you just gonna hang back until he's caught and all the gory details come out at the trial, then tell everyone "yeah, well that was obvious." That's the cooler thing to do, naturally.

It's you, isn't it Kriss. Not Two Sheds as I first suspected....

"The Evolution" Kriss Sprules: Who am I? Well, that's a simple question, with an even simpler answer. I am "The Genetically Modified Monster," I am a miracle of modern science, I am a killing machine. But where did I come from? I came from science. I was created as an experiment in a genetics lab on the outskirts of Oxford to be the ultimate killing machine

I *heart* this thread so much, mainly not because of the news it's giving out but the fact that Detective Sprules seems to believe that he has all the answers when in reality he hasn't got a clue what the hell is going on. My 'Profiling and Investigating Serious Crime' lecturer yesterday stated something that sort of sums this all up for me, he'd been asked by Sky News to do a profile on the ongoing saga in Ipswich but has declined numerous times because not even he or those other people within the field that he speaks to has a clue what is going on. He can speculate and he did, he drew out a profile of the sort of person he thought had committed the crimes and he then proceeded to crush his profile by saying that it was all aload of rubbish because the only way to form a proper profile would be to have all the information that the police have on what has occured. How do we know that this isn't being done by a group of people of even a woman? At this moment in time no profiler can write out a profile and be one hundred percent sure on what they have written, unless of course they have the information that the police have and I'm sure even the police at such an early stage haven't got a great deal of stuff to go on.

I think it's pretty obvious it's a bogus asylum seeker. Probably a gay one.

Or, by Daily Express standards, a Polish serial killer who is taking the job of an honest British Serial Killer.
