I'm sure they'd soon change their tune if their sister, daughter, neice or whatever turned up dead and they discovered that for whatever reason she's been working the streets. The Yorkshire Ripper killed various women, about half of whom were not prostitues. It may well be the case that he targets people who are easy victims and that fact that they are prostitues is not of major relevance to the killer. That said, it is obvious that prostitues are a major target and in serious danger. Street Prostitues are most likley doing it out of sheer desperation, a need for money - drugs etc. Parlour prostitues are much safer (and in some countries legal), and I would assume that is where some careers girls work IE people who treat is as a lucrative career, not as a quick habit to fund drugs etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Second Victim, first to be found, went missing 15th November. Most recent vitims earlier this month.A two-week delay typical of serial killers. Its gets scarey. So as it stands, we don't officially have a serial killer on our hands, but I think we all know what to expect.Out of interest, who was the last serial killer this country had? Obviously you have Fred West and his bitch, but that was slightly different in that the murders were discovered after his arrest rather than before.
