I'm from Ireland and in 1987 Ireland, I'd assume even johnnys were banned because even having a shower in the raw was shameful over here until about 2000, but my da brought me to this in the cinema so deffo wasn't banned. Could have been over your way though, I'm not sure. Â I do remember our school banning us swapping Garbage Pail Kids in the yard, but that was mainly due to a fight breaking out between a then five or six year old Paul Ward and Derek Guiney during little break over a Dead Ted card. I remember Guiney punching Paul Ward in the side of the neck which made Ward sick about an hour later and the teacher having a nervo over it. I'll never ever forget that!
