Wideload Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Ashens reviews some shitty wrestling figures: I actually found this strangely entertaining, just listening to a guy with a posh voice talk about Poundland wrestling figures. "This one is er.... yeah, interesting. The vibe here is a kind of a ginger Jesus being menaced by a giant metal spider. Which is a distinctly unpleasant image." You should check out his channel. His reviews of the PCP Stations and Poundland shite are immense.
Moderators PowerButchi Posted September 17, 2010 Moderators Posted September 17, 2010 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhIQRacT73w From 6:18. Paul London and a Mulletted Wrestling fan dressed like Ric Flair in 1985 discuss good booking on The Bear Skin Rug.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted September 17, 2010 Paid Members Posted September 17, 2010 He has to be a somebody. Unlike alot of mullet-headed wrestling fans, he wears the suit like a pro and his mullet has obviously been washed and groomed. I've went from hating his smart arse attitude to actually admiring him for sticking with the suit, mullet and gold watch combo in 2010. Great posture as well, with some great two figured pointing.
Moderators PowerButchi Posted September 17, 2010 Moderators Posted September 17, 2010 I love the way he even does Ric Flair mannerisms with his hands, and the way he wears his gold entrance wristband like a $20,000 rolex.
A.P. Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Haha that is hilarious. Hard to tell whether London is humouring him throughout, and the guy is clearly a pillock, yet as said, brilliant posture and really pulls off the paper wrist tag.
Paid Members ColinBollocks Posted September 17, 2010 Paid Members Posted September 17, 2010 I thought it was Dave Meltzer circa 86. Sounds so much like him. Is the Bear Skin Rug thing a youtube exclusive or is it a DVD? If it's a DVD any idea where I can download it?

All it is really, is London knocking about a convention and then meeting Shane Douglas. Its more or less all on that channel Butch linked.

Hugh Thesz Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Holy shit! Has anyone seen the 'Billy Jack Haynes Conspiracy Theory' videos that were uploaded to YouTube on 14th September? The second post where he (teniously) blames Vince McMahon for certain wrestlers deaths is quite upsetting as the man seems to be very unwell. Apologies as I still haven't worked out how to post links. Shuggy
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted September 20, 2010 Paid Members Posted September 20, 2010 He's fucking nuts. He shouldnt be allowed out the house. Pure mental bastard.
Paid Members Surf Digby Posted September 20, 2010 Paid Members Posted September 20, 2010 BIlly Jack Haynes shoot That's seriously depressing to watch.
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted September 20, 2010 Paid Members Posted September 20, 2010 WWE: Path To Immortality Whatever else you say about the way it's run or the quality of the shows these days, no-one makes better use of these sort of videos than the WWE. This is, apparently, the video they send to agents to persude folks to come be guest hosts for RAW. It does have the feeling of a corporate advertising video. It's also very interesting and very awesome. Also, who else has ever been a better ambassador for pro-wrestling than John Cena? That is an absolutely sensational video. Made me glad i hunted back through this thread. Can't believe I missed it the first time.
