Anyone got any tips for the weekends games? Iv'e got an 8 team accy on Rangers, Linfield, Charlton, Sheff Utd, barca, bayern, southampton and west ham 3 quid stake with about 120 back.

Here's what i've went for, hopefully of some benefit as i've been up two of the last three weekends on footie.

Nothing in Premiership takes my fancy, Everton are 4/6 at home to Wolves but i think that's too short for any value.

Cardiff @ 13/5 away to Reading looks a good price given current form although Reading i think are in a false position and will come good soon, however Cardiff going on a great run and not conceding many.

Oldham @ 20/21 at home to Chesterfield. They can be a bit hot and cold but have been going along well recently with Kuqi banging in the goals.

Sheff Wed @ 9/5 away to Tranmere. Wednesday used to be a soft touch away from home and get rolled over easily but they've added a lot of height and strength to the side with a few loan signings from higher leagues and can now mix it up a lot better with the physical teams.

Shrewsbury @ 7/5 away to Northampton. Home team are on a horrible run although they sacked manager during the week and may get a lift but still fancy Shrewsbury to have enough.

Southend @ 5/6 away to Dagenham. Nothing more to say than Southend have won their last six away games and you can't really look against that particularly with Dagenhams recent results.

Thats a five team with four away which is quite optimistic. Have put on as an accumulator and also four-folds (ie: any four from the five). Accumulator pays back

I've made a load betting on corner races in the last couple days. I've had about four in a row decided in the last minute of injury time.

I also narrowly missed out on Goals Galore. Fucking Sunderland.

Put a few pennies on Chelsea to win. They're currently 1-0 down to Liverpool who I'd like to see either win or draw, so either way I'm happy.

Bad tip, glad I never bet it now, was tempted too though

Anyone got any decent tips for the CL games, most of them look pretty straight forward, I'm thinking of sticking fiver on 5 or 6 teams.

Not a lot of value in the CL this week to be honest, bookies got burnt last year when there was a Tuesday/Wednesday with every favourite winning bar one game which ended a draw over the two match days and they got absolutely toasted. Prices have been iffy since but maybe just me being cynical.

You need to watch this week as it's the "business end" with a lot of teams able to secure a spot in the next round and, equally, teams already through who may have a tricky league game at the weekend and not exactly go full tilt as a result.

Zenit @ 4/7 looked very impressive last few times i have seen them domestically on ESPN and they are at home to APOEL who are going along nicely but mostly made up of South Americans to compliment the Cypriots in the side and i can't see them fancying St Petersburg at this time of year.

Marseille @ 4/6 have picked up a head of steam recently now they have Gignac and Valbuenna back in the team look a bigger threat going forward and i reckon they'll have enough to see of Olympiakos who traditionally struggle badly away from home in Europe.

Celtic -1 goal handicap @ 4/7 against Dunfermline who are my team but losing goals for fun at the moment - 27 in our last 9 league games - and Celtic will be looking to capitalise on Rangers dropping points at the weekend.

So a small stakes treble paying just over 3/1 there.

Also going to take another small hit on a single for the Milan/Barca game to end in a draw as it'll see them both through at a canter, getting 3/1 on that currently.

Went for Celtic, Zenit, Marseille, Madrid, United, Inter, Valencia and Shaktar in the end. Stuck down 5 to win about 165
