As awful as Bray Wyatt's death was, it did make wrestling fans pretend for a while that his spooky schtick was some kind of genius creative work. 90% of it was utter pwp.

As terrible as everything that followed was, I'll maintain that the Inferno match vs Orton was really fun.

After the match Orton committed murder on TV by pouring petrol on Wyatt's body and setting him on fire. It was an obvious dummy, where a simple change of camera angle, especially given it was no-audience pandemic era, could have covered it up - but I wonder if that was done on purpose to soften the impact of it for their "family" audience. 

Before Wyatt's return match at WrestleMania, his cool, burned look was immediately rendered pointless as he "regenerated" on the way to the ring and he lost to Orton in the aforementioned rematch under normal rules. Awful.

I can’t even watch this one back in full, it’s so mind-numbingly bad - the WWE karaoke showdown during the pandemic era. I’m not even sure they were doing it for any specific reason, but fuck me the late McMahon-era was bad:

Not sure if I am imagining this but the PPV where they were fighting in the building at WWE HQ and ended up on the roof. I am sure someone got thrown off the roof, but maybe that's wishful thinking.

Surely you'd remember that, Briefcase... that was Money in the Bank 2020.

Both Rey Mysterio & Alasteir Black went off the roof, but apparently they cheated death by landing on a "secondary roof". They had a short run as a tag team not long after, so presumably they bonded while awaiting rescue.

(FWIW, I thought that MitB concept was one of the more entertaining ways they made the most of lockdown settings).
