They can sign big name contracts while Caleb Williams is still on his rookie contract. Its a big swing, there are no bad teams in that division. Well if that was anything to go by, the trade was the right choice. Simmons was a beast and it was one of the performances of the season from any team so far. The opening drive was a dream and Caleb got his usual shit in. Apart from that minor wobble at the start of the 4th, it was a masterclass. These boys are the real deal. Mine and @HandsomeButchIII’s annual Superbowl night out might be a touch more stressful this season. Quote

Simmons looked amazing and that's only his first week. The rumour mill online suggests we aren't done in the trade market yet either. Possibly looking for another edge rusher, though I don't know how much cap space we have at this point. Quote
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted Tuesday at 11:26 AM Paid Members Posted Tuesday at 11:26 AM Really enjoyed the highlights this morning over my breakfast muffin. And thank you to the NFL for providing spoiler-free highlights, too. D'Andre Swift has scored 10 TDs this season and has probably run for a combined 13 yards for them. Goal hanger. Quote
Paid Members BigJag Posted Wednesday at 04:37 AM Paid Members Posted Wednesday at 04:37 AM I'm not used to the Bears being this good. It's very difficult to not expect us to snatch defeat from victory. Why do we still lose to the Packers? Simmons looked very impressive. How long has he been in the Bears system? Surely if he's a new addition he wouldn't have extensive knowledge of the playbook. Quote

We spent last years kicking off on students for trying to sit at our table and half inch our chicken wings (Me and Crisp were on the right side of history for the record). If the Bears make the Superbowl and lose I'll phone the solicitors in advance. As I'll be locked up with you with the state of the NFC East. That division has gone to fuck, but at least us Cowboys are somehow still 2nd in it. Let's hope we spunk the wildcard. Edited yesterday at 04:01 AM by HandsomeButchIII Quote
Paid Members Statto Posted 5 hours ago Paid Members Posted 5 hours ago It’s November, and time for shit to get really real in college football as we head into the last 4 weeks of the regular season – and this week sure is is a doozy. We saw the first set of official Playoff rankings released on Tuesday, which as usual created absolutely no controversy of any kind… One thing it did do was put one-time National Championship favourites Oregon (still unranked by the AP) at #23, which means we officially have 7 (SEVEN) ranked match-ups on a single Saturday, which is (I think) an all-time record. #7 Texas @ #18 Missouri (5pm, Disney+) #5 Alabama @ #14 LSU (8:30pm, Disney+) #12 Ohio State @ #23 Oregon (8:30pm, you’ll only find this on DAZN [legitimately…]) #6 Kentucky @ #13 Tennessee (11;15pm, Disney+) #2 Georgia @ #10 Ole Miss (12:30am, Disney+) #1 Miami @ #11 Notre Dame (12:30am, Sky Sports NFL) (I’d completely forgotten until now Sky still had Notre Dame home games rights!) The 7th matchup is the one I’d like to make my Disney+ pick of the week, as #9 BYU make the short hop of approximately 50 miles to face #3 Utah in the rivalry known as the HOLY WAR (5pm UK). Always an intense rivalry game (as intense as rivalries between Mormons can get anyway), this is maybe the biggest instance ever with both teams up in the top 10 and battling in the Big 12 championship and College Football Playoff race. However… for reasons I can’t fathom it’s not listed on Disney+ right now – it’s an ABC (and therefore ESPN/Disney) game so really should be. The listings have been a bit spotty until day of at times, so I’d encourage you to just check in if you’re interested and you might find it there. If not… YouTube is probably your friend. Quote
