Although the title being defended in other promotions but not having any video footage or mention of this on Dyno/Collision just seems to make it a pointless endeavour. Hell, Don Callis manages to end up out there anyway by being on commentary. Apparently a video package for the C2 established that the penalty for interfering is indefinite suspension - at some point they need to actually have that happen, and actually show us the consequences, to make it mean something. Yep, what's the point if we don't know about it? At the start of the International Title's existance which was then the All Atlantic Title, all the title defences in other promotions were either shown on there TV programmes or at least on Dark or Dark Elevation. Unless it ends up changing hands outside the company regularly, giving new faces guest-stints in AEW, I find it hard to buy that as a selling point. But even that seems to have limited upside, why even bother doing that when people make guest appearances in AEW all the time anyway? You don’t need a title to make that a reality. Punk will win the Rumble and challenge Cody. If Rollins is fit they will do Rollins vs Reigns, otherwise Breakker vs Reigns and Rollins vs Reigns will be preserved for SummerFest.
