MVP RULZ Posted January 23, 2025 Author Posted January 23, 2025 Well this week certainly saw a mixed bag amongst us and has seen the lead change as a result @hbk4lifewas the top scorer with a massive 104 Points and has vaulted back into 1st by the slimmest of margins leading by just 2 points over @SpykeDudlei1 who also scored an impressive 94 which included the bonus 5 for being closest to the total yards as the majority of us went massively under I scored 74 which was actually 4th best but has seen me fall from the top to 16 points off the lead, I must admit I actually feared it would be worse than that with (Goff, Fairbairn and the Lions DST scoring me just 1 point between the 3 of them) Thank you to Barkley, Brown and Kelce for salvaging something of the week @Vegeta was the 3rd highest scorer and the biggest mover flying up to 4th only 3 points separated @seph, @johnnyboy and @Dead Mike who scored 65, 68 and 65 respectively to remain in the middle of the pack though they have all gained a place as @Adam619 unfortunately missed the week and the chance at the title with it @Bradyisgod22 did return however and made a valiant attempt to claw back the deficit as a result of the previous missed weeks with some picks outside of the more popular ones, it didn't quite pay off as they were the lowest scorers (only just though) on 63 but good to have them back for the run in Standings After Divisional Round (Divisional Round Score)[Weeks Won] hbk4life 347 (104) [2] SpykeDudlei1 345 (94) [5] MVP RULZ 331 (74) [7] Vegeta 307 (90) [1] seph 298 (65) [3] johnnyboy 291 (68) [3] Dead Mike 286 (65) [2] Adam619 234 (-) [5] Bradyisgod22 222 (63) [1] I Bent My Wookie 98 (-) [2] The Rules for the Championship Round are the same again aside from the restriction of ONLY BEING ALLOWED TO PICK A MAXIMUM OF 2 PLAYERS FROM ANY 1 TEAM (Note: DST is counted as 1 Player) Below is the scoring of each player, please do feel free to double check your scores and let me know of any mistakes I might have made QB: Jared Goff: 313 Yards Passing, 1 Touchdown Passing, 3 Interceptions Thrown, 7 Yards Rushing, 1 Lost Fumble = 1 Point Lamar Jackson: 254 Yards Passing, 2 Touchdowns Passing, 1 Interception Thrown, 39 Yards Rushing, 1 Lost Fumble = 10 Points Josh Allen: 127 Yards Passing, 20 Yards Rushing, 2 Touchdowns Rushing = 16 Points C.J Stroud: 245 Yards Passing, 42 Yards Rushing = 8 Points Jayden Daniels: 299 Yards Passing, 2 Touchdowns Passing, 51 Yards Rushing = 16 Points Patrick Mahomes: 177 Yards Passing, 1 Touchdown Passing, 14 Yards Rushing = 7 Points RB: Saquon Barkley: 205 Yards Rushing, 2 Touchdowns Rushing, 27 Yards Receiving = 35 Points Jahmyr Gibbs: 105 Yards Rushing, 2 Touchdowns Rushing, 70 Yards Receiving = 29 Points James Cook: 67 Yards Rushing, 15 Yards Receiving = 8 Points Derrick Henry: 84 Yards Rushing, 1 Touchdown Rushing = 14 Points WR: Amon-Ra St.Brown: 137 Yards Receiving = 13 Points Cooper Kupp: 61 Yards Receiving = 6 Points A.J. Also last call to @Bradyisgod22 and @Adam619 just under 2 hours until the KO in the NFC Championship game. Quote
MVP RULZ Posted January 26, 2025 Author Posted January 26, 2025 I've also just realised @SpykeDudlei1has made the same error of picking 3 Bills players. Luckily you've only picked 1 Chiefs player so I'll allow you to change one of the Bills players to a Chiefs player before 11.30pm kick off of that game. If you can reply in here with the change you'd like to make rather then editing the post (I trust you wouldn't change the other bits but for clarity it'll be best to leave that post for now seeing as the NFC game is underway already) Quote

Appreciate the flexibility but if others think it shouldn’t count I’m cool with it. You’d think I’d know the rules by now after 20 years ??♂️ If you’re fine with it I’ll change Tyler Bass for Harrison Butker. Thanks @MVP RULZ ?? Quote
MVP RULZ Posted February 3, 2025 Author Posted February 3, 2025 (edited) A great week for @hbk4life has seen them extend the lead at the top to 17 points going into the final round as history beckons as they remain on course to be the first back to back Champions (of my ERA of running this at least anyway) they were the 3rd highest scorers helped in part by being the only person to correctly guess the Eagles for both Most Yards and Most Points plus they received the bonus 5 once again for being closest to the total Yards as we all continue to go under the actual yardage Those additional 15 Points over @SpykeDudlei1 (who was the lowest scorer of the round and got neither Most Yards or Points correct) is the difference between a 2 point and 17 point lead heading into the super bowl If Either wish to PM there picks they can and ill post ahead of Kick off I closed the gap slightly to 2nd but remain 9 points behind and more importantly 26 points off the lead The Battle for 4th and 5th heated up with the 2 highest scorers of the week coming from those spots as @seph took the weekly award with 87 points closing to within 4 of @Vegeta who themselves had an impressive week scoring 82 as both make inroads on the top 3 And below them the battle for 6th and 7th also tightened to within a single point with @johnnyboy 71 just enough to hold off @Dead Mike who scored 75 3 Players (@Adam619, @Bradyisgod22 and @I Bent My Wookie)remained absent but would be good to get them back for a crack at the Super Bowl Round at least if they would like to do so Standings After Championship Round (Championship Round Score)[Weeks Won] hbk4life 428 (81) [2] SpykeDudlei1 411 (66) [5] MVP RULZ 402 (71) [7] Vegeta 389 (82) [1] seph 385 (87) [4] johnnyboy 362 (71) [3] Dead Mike 361 (75) [2] Adam619 234 (-) [5] Bradyisgod22 222 (-) [1] I Bent My Wookie 98 (-) [2] Below is the usual scoring so feel to double check any errors I may have made and let me know QB: Josh Allen: 237 Yards Passing, 2 Touchdowns Passing, 39 Yards Rushing = 13 Points Patrick Mahomes: 245 Yards Passing, 1 Touchdown Passing, 43 Yards Rushing, 2 Touchdowns Rushing, 1 Fumble lost, 2 Point Conversion Passing = 23 Points Jayden Daniels: 255 Yards Passing, 1 Touchdown Passing, 1 Interception Thrown, 48 Yards Rushing, 1 Touchdown Rushing, 2 Point Conversion Passing = 18 Points RB: Saquon Barkley: 118 Yards Rushing, 3 Touchdowns Rushing, 4 Yards Receiving = 30 Points James Cook: 85 Yards Rushing, 2 Touchdowns Rushing, 49 Yards Receiving = 25 Points WR: Terry McLaurin: 51 Yards Receiving, 1 Touchdown Receiving = 11 Points A.J.
