Fog Dude
On 9/10/2024 at 11:12 AM, I Bent My Wookie said: I love International week points wise. Even if the bloody Scottish fumbled. Few games there that I'm surprised I didn't make it to the magic 20+ And nobody did, as it turns out. But the international round still lived up to its reputation. Only last-placed Stinky and myself failed to make it into double figures. Since you mentioned it, everyone got a correct result bonus point for Portugal's win since match #6 was the randomly selected 'wildcard' fixture, but nobody thought it'd end up as close as it did. Anyway, the final scores went into the initial post on Monday night, and then the new table was figured out shortly afterwards. TildeGuy once again merits his status as the early pacesetter, but again I wouldn't read too much into the whopping scale of the lead as he's the sole participant to have had a go at a D2D so far this season. Very much cementing his role as the nearest challenger is ultimo, with Rory also managing more than one exact score and Vegeta moving away from trouble at the other end after a difficult opening fortnight. It was just the score draw in Gibraltar that caught most people out this time. The scale of victory for Spain's men and Birmingham's women meant those matches were no good for three-pointers, but the other six matches I'm not even gonna mention individually since in general they all proved massively fruitful for the most part. Right, a month in, we haven't started the Cup yet and we've still got at least 8 more D2Ds to squeeze in before Christmas. So let's start to rectify that a bit in the next set of 10 by actually including somebody's first go-around. That card should be up in the first post in just a tick.
