Paid Members Supremo Posted February 21 Paid Members Share Posted February 21 All reports were that Daniel Bryan was never considered a top star, was never going to get his revenge on The Authority, and didn’t factor anywhere near the top of the Wrestlemania card, pencilled in to face facing Sheamus. The point I’m making is that back then Batista and Orton were the chosen ones, whereas the fans wanted Daniel Bryan. The company and the fans were completely at odds. Now, other than for a crazy week where everyone’s heads fell off and Rock got a very rude awakening, Cody is the chosen one. He is Batista. He is John Cena. He is Roman Reigns. And the fans are happy as fuck to agree. Everyone is synchronised. Strap that man up, make sure his dog is somewhere safe, then set off a record-breaking number of fireworks. They just about got away with last year and kept Cody on a fantastic track to last till now, if Roman wins again it won't be backlash like last year it will be a negative/bad backlash.
