I think it's difficult to predict the coffin match unless you know where its placed on the card. I could see it being a bit deflating if Sting loses but if its positioned right that's not necessarily a bad thing.

I'd put it on later in the card when it's dark

If House of Black are added to a match a later in the night would suite them too

Always was going to be a lot of names not on this card but same time it's a little suprising that 2 of your 4 pillars (and wrestlers who main evented the last PPV) aren't on it, nor are 2 of your big singles champions (one of whom is managed by a very recognisable ex WWE guy). But then it's this card. Shouldn't be suprised by anything at this point

I'm not going to lose any sleep over Sammy not being on the card - though, at a stretch, I can see him getting involved in the Jericho/Ospreay match depending how much business and smoke and mirrors they want in there, or how much they want it to be Jericho trying to keep up with Will.

I'd forgotten we had nothing for Jungle Boy yet - I imagine that gets added this week, as he's promised to retire the FTW Title. That should lead to something with Hook, either at Wembley or at All Out.

There's eight matches on the main show so far. Start time for the main show should be 6pm, and will run til somewhere between 10 and 11pm. Obviously there needs to be scope for non-wrestling stuff and logistics, but assuming it's at least a four hour show, there's space for one or two more matches, unless we're to assume that everything is going half an hour.

By comparison, ignoring the pre-show, previous AEW PPVs had:
Forbidden Door - 9 matches
Double Or Nothing - 9 matches (not counting the Jade Cargill/Kris Statlander impromptu match)
Revolution - 8 matches
Full Gear - 10 matches
All Out - 11 matches

So there's definitely scope, I would say, to another 2-3 matches to be added to the show before Sunday. Based on trajectory of storylines in the last couple of weeks, and who has done press or appeared on posters for this show, I could see:

Jeff Jarrett/Jay Lethal/Satnam Singh vs. Hardys & Paul Wight
Jungle Boy vs. Hook (or some permutation of this story)
The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn vs. HOB

Some of that could be saved for All Out, and it feels like the last match may well be, though you'd think if they have an opportunity to have Wembley shout "Scissor Me, Daddy Ass", they should take it.

And then there's whoever the mystery partners for the BCC are.

I was more thinking that it's hard for a crowd to remain at a fever pitch for 5 hours and actually you might want to let them deflate for a bit.

I mean visually Sting and Darby in a coffin match probably looks better at night but then, Sting going into a coffin at sunset would be a pretty sweet image too. I don't think they should aim for that because I don't think they'd hit their mark but still.

In terms of getting the right light I think they'll want the Stadium Stampede out while there's still daylight.

A lot of wrestlers not on the card. People who have been in the company since the beginning and a few big names too. Surely they can have a battle royal for some of these. Unless there’s a match or two left to announce.

Andrade, The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn, The Gunns, UKFF favourite Big Bill, Brian Cage, Malakai Black and his spooky chums, Christian & Luchasaurus, Daniel Garcia, Dustin Rhodes, Hook, Ethan Page, Jack Perry, Double J, any Dark Order folk, Keith Lee, Miro, Hobbs, Ricky Starks, Rush, Sammy Sammy Sammy, Stupid Sexy Wardlow, Nyla Rose, Willow, Thunder Rosa, Rebel (should be main eventing ❤️) and Statlander. There might be a few injuries among them, but you could make a fairly solid card on those names alone. And where the fuck is Jade Cargill?

I'm happy with teh card as it is. I don't want an 11 match show, I'll have nothing left by the main event. Not everyone can be on the card and the card is already mostly multi-man's or tags, must be 40 wrestlers over 9 matches. All Out is the following week too (which is mental as that only has 1 or 2 matches set).

Only two announced. Showed their hand by adjusting Starks suspension so he can appear at All Out. Trios & TBS title matches might be more likely there, and something to do with Jack Perry.

See it more likely to have the Casino Battle Royale at All Out. Whatever happens in the main event of All In they're going to need a new random challenger.

For some reason, it hadn’t even occurred to me that the stadium is open and we’ll be getting natural sunlight (well, whatever passes for sunlight in the UK). WrestleMania 9 vibes. A bloody-eyed CM Punk to valiantly take on MJF at Adam Cole’s request to close the show.

Punk challenging the winner at All In for Real World Championship post match or a rematch as one turns on the other in the main event to cheat and win the title. Easy enough to find something for All Out main event using the All In main event.

I imagine a fair bit will happen at All In to set up 3 or so matches for All Out.

I was thinking Punk v. Starks for All Out to close their feud. Not much point to change the suspension otherwise.

Fozzy are playing Kentish Town Forum on Friday, so it might be either a Saturday gig or that they'll be playing at the pre-show.

Surely the last thing Jericho wants before a match where he has to keep up with Will Ospreay is to blow himself up quote-unquote "singing"?

Depends whether keeping up with Ospreay or being able to say he "played Wembley" is a bigger kicker for his ego.
