Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted June 27, 2025 Paid Members Posted June 27, 2025 Every now and then I remember this scene and it kills me off all over again. “I suck at talking like this John, I’m sorry”. ”The coffee with the fuckin’ chicory”. Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted June 27, 2025 Members Posted June 27, 2025 John is the absolute best. My favourite character by a mile and always has been. Quote

TildeGuy~! Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 My dad at the ripe old age of 75 has finally began his watch of the show after years of me pleading with him to, he’s just begun Season 4. Paulie and Silvio are his favourites and he is begging for Ralphie to meet his end. He loves quoting the interior decorator line from Pine Barrens to whoever will listen. Quote

Members SuperBacon Posted September 29, 2025 Members Posted September 29, 2025 Felt a bit shit recently, so Tony is here to cheer me up. Ah jessshusssh chrisssht, here we go again. Quote
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted September 29, 2025 Paid Members Posted September 29, 2025 I dont know if I can ever rewatch the Sopranos. I watched it after Christmas last year and when I finished, I had this horrible bereavement feeling when it wasnt in my life anymore. Anyone else get this after finishing a show they love? Quote
Paid Members TheBurningRed Posted September 29, 2025 Paid Members Posted September 29, 2025 Yeah it takes me a few days to pick back up and binge another show again. Especially with The Sopranos. I’ve just recently got through Better Call Saul again (in record time of 2 weeks thanks to boring night shifts). I know I can go straight into Breaking Bad. But BCS was so, so good, I’m in that “bereavement” stage so to speak. Quote
Paid Members LaGoosh Posted September 30, 2025 Paid Members Posted September 30, 2025 The problem with going from BCS to Breaking Bad is that BCS is so much better than Breaking Bad. Going back to the beginning of Breaking Bad feels like a huge downgrade in quality. I find that I really struggle to get into 99% of big TV dramas these days. Sopranos, The Wire, Deadwood, Mad Men, Better Call Saul, Boardwalk Empire...I feel like the form has peaked. There's nothing as good as any of them so watching anything less feels like a waste of time. Recently re-watched the episode where Janice kills Richie. There's a bit where Tony is dropping Janice off at the bus station where he pauses, then with a massive shit eating grin goes "well all in all, it was a pretty good visit!". I was absolutely howling.
