Jerry Lawler was in a TLC match against The Miz when he was 61 so think he’s the oldest in WWE to have done it. Quote

The youngest ever World Heavyweight Champion in the current iteration of the belt is 36, in Seth Rollins - and he turned 37 the day after winning it. Assuming my maths is right, the last time someone aged under 30 held the WWE title was Bray Wyatt in 2017, with the second youngest being Jinder Mahal that same year at 31. In the 2020s, almost every WWE champion has been aged closer to 40. They need a dramatic shift, a refreshing of the roster. Age doesn’t necessarily matter of course, but when the vast majority of your older wrestlers feel stale it certainly does. Perhaps it’s a ‘me’ thing, but I can’t view any potential match between almost any upper carder on Smackdown without feeling massively uninspired. I hope they take a chance on Trick Williams sooner rather than later. A feud with a heel Punk or Cody could be the perfect antidote to the current malaise. To be fair though. The young guys in waiting are there to be brought through Dirty Dom 29 Oba Femi 28 Bron Breakker 28 Je’von Evans 22 Quote

Mr_Danger Posted October 3 Posted October 3 Sami deffo took that bad breath comment to heart and not because he’s thin skinned or actually has bad breath. He knows that shit will be on a T-shirt by the end of the month and he’ll be walking around eating raw cloves of garlic competing for the 24/7 title if he’s not careful. Quote
Paid Members Supremo Posted October 5 Paid Members Posted October 5 Sami Zayn’s snide headbutt on Trick Williams on this show was the most exciting, authentic WWE moment in months, if not years. Wild how Sami Zayn is simultaneously the literal WWE Champion and yet still feels like one of the most underrated performers in the business. It’s not a coincidence that the return of Kevin Owens and the re-crowning of Sami Zayn has coincided with an incredible main event picture suddenly materialising on Smackdown. My boys have even made Grandpa Joe himself, Johnny Gargano, feel like a legitimate World Title contender! Quote
The King of Old School Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Zayn, Owens, Punk, Orton, Rhodes & Williams 2026's version of "The Smackdown Six". I can't put myself through naming Gargano in there. Quote

Paid Members Supremo Posted Saturday at 10:30 AM Paid Members Posted Saturday at 10:30 AM (edited) As is quickly becoming tradition, the highlight of Smackdown was once again Sami Zayn or Kevin Owens doing something unscripted/off mic. Last week it was Sami and Trick Williams giving each other snide headbutts. This week it was Kevin Owens, staring deadpan at CM Punk at the end of their promo, mouthing, "I hope you fall," as Punk made his way down the ladder. Seasons change. Years pass. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are always around, carrying this company. I'll be rooting for Kevin Owens in the ladder match. Edited Saturday at 11:25 AM by Supremo Quote
TheScarlettChad Posted Saturday at 11:01 AM Posted Saturday at 11:01 AM I can't predict who'll win mitb. I like that. I hope Owens gets it, but Punk being the first three time Mr MITB is a fun accomplishment too. Penta would be out of left field, too. Quote
Paid Members air_raid Posted Saturday at 12:44 PM Paid Members Posted Saturday at 12:44 PM Kev winning seems like such an obvious home run and would be such a missed opportunity not to, they’re bound to go in another direction. Quote
