Paid Members Dead Mike Posted July 12, 2019 Paid Members Posted July 12, 2019 People who pay more attention than me, help me name a fighter? - Think he's lightweight or welterweight, white American & a submission specialist favouring nasty looking leg locks & heel hooks. Apparently has trouble getting fights as people don't want to match up with him & he won his last fight quickly earlier this year. A quiet & unassuming type. Hairy chest. Ring any bells? Quote
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted July 12, 2019 Paid Members Posted July 12, 2019 Ryan Hall, hes fighting Darren Elkins tomorrow night. Quote

I was asking as I was wondering when he's fighting next, cheers dude. That's a fiver going down on a submission finish. Quote
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted July 12, 2019 Paid Members Posted July 12, 2019 Yeah you’ve timed that question well Mike. Hall vs Elkins is the pick of the bunch on tomorrow night’s card for me. Quote

Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted July 16, 2019 Paid Members Posted July 16, 2019 Don’t want to get too excited until it’s confirmed as concrete somewhere reliable but there’s a bit of talk on Twitter that Korean Zombie vs Brian Ortega is in the works for the Mexico card in September. Quote
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted July 18, 2019 Paid Members Posted July 18, 2019 (edited) Donald Cerrone vs Justin Gaethje is the main event for the Vancouver show on September 14th. According to Kevin Iole. It’s confirmed on all the main news sites. Fucking yes! Only shit thing for me is I’m going to Vancouver in October. I could’ve witnessed it live if it’d been a month earlier. Edited July 18, 2019 by wandshogun09 Quote
Ironic Indie Lad Posted July 18, 2019 Posted July 18, 2019 That is possibly the most JUST BLEED fight the UFC could book right now. Tremendous stuff. Quote
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted July 18, 2019 Paid Members Posted July 18, 2019 may god have mercy on both their souls. awesome fight Quote
Paid Members Carbomb Posted July 18, 2019 Paid Members Posted July 18, 2019 Think I just had the MMA equivalent of Mandela Syndrome - for some reason, I had it in my head that Gaethje and Cerrone had already fought, and that Cerrone had won. Odd. Quote
Paid Members WeeAl Posted July 18, 2019 Paid Members Posted July 18, 2019 I can't believe I'm doing this, but that's fight of the year isn't it? That's happening on my stag weekend, I think my Polish language skills will struggle too much to find a bar that's showing it, but I can watch it hungover in the airport the next morning all being well! Quote
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted July 21, 2019 Paid Members Posted July 21, 2019 MMA is a big deal in Poland, you'll probably find a bar no problem. Quote
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted July 23, 2019 Paid Members Posted July 23, 2019 Helwani tweeted something about Yair Rodriguez pushing to get that Zabit fight made for the Mexico show in September. I hope that happens. That’s the card that the rumoured Korean Zombie vs Brian Ortega fight was supposed to be on as well. Imagine a card with both Yair vs Zabit and Zombie vs Ortega? Just inject that shit into my veins. Quote
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted July 24, 2019 Paid Members Posted July 24, 2019 (edited) According to Brett Okamoto, Chris Weidman’s debut at 205 is against Dominick Reyes on the Boston show in October. Tough introduction to the division for Weidman that. Just seen as well that the UFC are looking at doing Ben Askren vs Demian Maia but it was BJPenn.com reporting that so fuck knows how legit it is. Paid Members Egg Shen Posted July 25, 2019 Paid Members Posted July 25, 2019 I like Maia/Askren, different type of challege for Askren. Quote
