Mattyc
Despite going to many wrestling shows over the last twenty years and seeing nearly every notable WWE star I can think of at least once, I never got to see Randy Savage or the Ultimate Warrior live, and I've yet to see Hulk Hogan. My best chance of seeing Hogan live was probably back in 1994 when WCW did a show in Birmingham with him headlining, but I went to the WWF show instead that year.  I've also never done a Wrestlemania. It's something that I still want to do one day but in all honesty the urge has been lessened by being at the 2011 Survivor Series at MSG. Seeing a wrestling show at MSG was possibly the biggest thing left that I wanted to tick off of my wrestling wish list and I did it. That night spoilt me too, because everything about it ended up being perfect. I was lucky enough to land an amazing seat and being amongst that New York crowd when the Rock made his entrance/CM Punk won the WWE title is something I'll never forget being apart of. So if I never get around to attending a Wrestlemania I can accept that.  Something else that I've just thought of. I've never actually watched a show from AJPW in full, I've only seen select matches.
Paid Members Lenin Posted July 19, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted July 19, 2015 I've never watched Ric Flair pre 1992, despite being into wrestling since the mid 80s. Â Don't see the attraction.
paltaper
I think I've only seen one of the Flair Steamboat '89 matches. I always forget which one it is and then mean to watch it in chronological order. Just never happened. Â Also have never watched Bruiser Brody, I have a feeling he won't live up to the hype and be like the Berzerker! Â Regarding going to Japan: Â Here is a detailed thread from 10 years ago that went from the idea of going to see NOAH at the Tokyo Dome 2005 to actually organizing it and it really happening. It wasn't that hard then and probably isn't any more so now: Â http://ccgi.simania.plus.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2182

The Clint
I have never watched a Bret Hart match that i actually enjoyed. He just bores the arse off me. Â Are you being serious? How the fuck could anyone think his matches with Davey Boy, Owen and Austin were boring. I've always enjoyed Bret's work in the ring.

I even bought the 3-disk set in the SilverVision sale in order to 'correct' my opinion. Enjoyed the doc but I just zoned in and out of his matches. He's like a fun sponge for me, just soaking up any enjoyment to be found. There are times during his matches where i think "Ah, that looked pretty smooth" but i'm really just wishing that his opponent was having the match with someone else. 2Xtreme_lives
I started watching Wrestling in 99 and although I know my wrestling history since but I have still never watched - Summerslam 92, Wrestlemania 1-7 or any entire PPVs from 80s and up to 1994 in their entirety when I started watching I watched the back catalogue going back to 1994.  I have never watched a PPV live other than Wrestlemania.  I have seen the Undertaker's Entrance live but wish too at some point

JakeRobertsParoleOfficer
Chyna is the only Diva I haven't wanked over. But seriously I've never watched any PPV since 2008 all the way through more than once. Between 1997-2004 I used to easily watch the full 3 hours over again but now it's just certain matches that stand out. Sometimes it's actually a chore watching them live these days. Ironically Chyna is the diva I've committed the most protein blasts to (talking last coupla yrs porno Chyna not frightening man chyna from 98 DX)
boshealecta
Im kinda the same with Bret Hart. Â Obviously he is amazing at what he does, but just never saw the appeal as a kid. Â I always wonder what the kids watching WWE today think of the Cena vs Owens matches or the US Title open challenge. Â Personally for me as a kid I never liked the technical matches and much preferred the shorter ones with the bigger characters. Â Mr Perfect vs Bret Hart at Summerslam 91 I always used to fast forward.
Paid Members Lenin Posted July 21, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted July 21, 2015 I think Bret is to some what Ric Flair is to me. Legendary worker but after seeing one match you've seen them all.
AshC
Could disagree more; one of the major appeals of Bret for me was how different so many of his big matches were.

That was enough for me. Mr Perfect vs Bret Hart at Summerslam 91 I always used to fast forward.Madness.
boshealecta
I think the problem was Bret was too normal for me at the time.  Yeah he was colourful, but characterwise wasnt larger than life.  Same with Ric Flair  However in retrospect I can enjoy them and some of the matches I enjoyed as a kid I now find dull.  I wonder what the youngsters of today enjoy as it very much seems they enjoy Cena compared to some of the adult audience who prefer the technical wrestling and Ceasro.  I wonder what the kids think of Cena busting out these long matches.
