Paid Members Bettencourt Posted May 18, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted May 18, 2015 That second spoiler killed me Bettencourt. Brilliant!  I was essentially live discussing it as I watched.
Keith Houchen
I laughed at it too!
Paid Members Bettencourt Posted May 28, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted May 28, 2015 (edited) Is Lynch a fan of Robocop? Â Â That's the old man turned up now! Â Edited May 28, 2015 by Bettencourt
Paid Members Bettencourt Posted June 19, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted June 19, 2015 That's me finished the series. So is the film a must watch then? Finished on quite a cliffhanger, didn't it?
Keith Houchen
The film is worth a watch, yes. It's a prequel and patchy but fuck it, it's Twin Peaks.
Paid Members Bettencourt Posted June 19, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted June 19, 2015 Hmm, in that case, it must have been a very agonising wait for people that watched it originally twenty years ago.
Pegasus Kid
The film has a much different feel to it compared to the series. Not much comedy or quirkiness at all as far as I remember. I really liked it but don't go in expecting the same style as the TV show.
Paid Members Carbomb Posted June 20, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted June 20, 2015 Fucking Amazon. Been watching the series on Prime Instant Video, and for the past few months it was included in the price of Prime, but, of course, now the mini-series is coming up, they've taken it off the included list just when I'm four episodes off the end of season two. I don't want to have to pay for the whole series just to watch those last four, but it seems stupid to buy them individually too.
Paid Members Bettencourt Posted June 20, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted June 20, 2015 Do you have Netflix? It's on the U.S. Netflix I'm sure. That or the UK one.
Paid Members Carbomb Posted June 21, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted June 21, 2015 I have Netflix UK, it's not on that one. I'm a complete techno-boob, so I don't quite know how to get the US version.
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted June 22, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted June 22, 2015 Google it, its fairly simple to do on a laptop.
Paid Members Carbomb Posted June 22, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted June 22, 2015 To be completely honest, it's partly because I'm backlogged with so many other series that I'm not feeling the urgency yet. One of my mates has it on DVD, so I'll probably just hold off until he can lend it to me.
Herne's Son
Are we allowed to discuss this show in spoiler detail? I am quite interested if anyone has any theories as to what happens in episode 29, or are discussing theories about the meaning of David Lynch's work a waste of time in general? Paid Members Bettencourt Posted June 22, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted June 22, 2015 I'd probably tag it just in case. I just read that the second series actually got cut. That explains things.
