If the Hardys challenge it and are willing to spend the money, TNA will have no chance. Those wrestling contracts are so one sided and disgraceful that when someone does have the balls to go for it, they'll always win.

 

What do TNA want with the IP anyway? Its the people who perform the gimmicks they should be moving heaven and earth to get back. Like the worst thing that will happen is Matt and Jeff revert back to their incredibly over personas that draw massively on the indies and in WWE.

Yeah, doing a bit of digging it seems like TNA are trying to claim the "Broken Universe" as their own.

 

Ian: Yeah, it's daft. I can only assume, if it's to do with IP, it's either them wanting their cut, or them looking to bugger over ROH, but as discussed, the Hardy's can just go back to their other money gimmick. This is TNA though, so they're probably just being mental and petty. The "Broken Universe" is nothing without the Hardy's.

You could argue that the Hardys are as stupid as Corgan if it's legit they paid for the show to air. The owner was a complete idiot.

 

If iMPACT do own the "Broken Universe" term, fuck it and give it to them for free. Time to move on.

"Finance" could also mean that they allowed them to film TV on their land for free, instead of charging rent for putting the show on. Those Hardy shows were all on location at their house.
