Are they dropping Tenay from TNA? Just wondered if him being "blocked" from the announce desk was a way of writing him out (though they probably wouldn't have had him shoot that bit of business)

I can tolerate the nWo taking over the WCW announce desk, especially at the start, because a) it was new and b) Its the nWo, and they were as cool as.

But the idea that TNA would let Taz and Anderson bully Tenay out of his chair, and TNA wouldnt send a) send in security to have a word with Taz (like they did the previous week) or b) Have the Mafia or someone run Anderson off so that Tenay can come back is a bit daft.

He has been their voice for SO long now. I doubt he's out, but it's possible.

Who'd replace him? I'm quite a big Borash fan (!) and think he plays the scared dweeb well and makes all the wrestlers look tougher, but he's not a lead announcer. I do think Tenay/Taz is a bit played out though. Maybe a 3 man announce team of some sort?

They actually used the finish of a TNA title change to concentrate on building up the Bellator fight between Ortiz and Jackson. Fucks sakes.

And next week...

From Norolk for the show airing on 8/22

It opened with Bobby Roode, Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian out. Roode congratultes Bully for winning the title but said that now he's got a target on his chest. Roode vowed to win the tournament and said he also wanted Austin Aries in the group so they can have even more control of the BFG series. James Storm and Gunner came out, leading to a tag match.

Roode & Kazarian b Storm & Gunner in a non-title match when Roode pinned Storm after a low blow.

Manik b Sonjay Dutt

Joseph Park won a four-way street fight for 20 poinds over Jay Bradley, Christopher Daniels and Hernandez. Aries came out and teased joining with Daniels, but instead turned on him.

Bully Ray came out with Tito Ortiz, who is now in Aces and 8s. Bully said he's going to shock the world one more time, this time he's back with Brooke. But the Brooke that came out was Brooke Tessmacher. She and Bully Ray were making out and Ray said he had the "hot" Broooke.

Gail Kim b ODB

Loser of the fall leaves: Sting & Magnus & Samoa Joe & Rampage Jackson & A.J. Styles (full fledged babyface dropping the failed gimmick) b Devon & Wes Brisco & Garett Bischoff & Kunx & Ken Anderson. Styles pinned Devon with the Styles Clash, so Devon is supposedly done with the company.

BUTCHES NOTE - Of all the people to lose that fall, Devon? I mean none of them are SUPERDUPER, but Devon's the one out of the five I'd have rather not have fucked off.

How's the kayfabe rivalry going to work in their real fight? Every post-fight interview ends with "Now we've had a fight, we respect each other and we're cool," but if Tito's clocked Rampage with a hammer, what do they do with that? There's no way the TNA stuff will cross either of their minds when they're in fight-mode, so TNA will obviously be talking up a fight that's going to shit all over their storyline.

Do Bellator acknowledge TNA on their show? I know that the relationship exists there between Spike/Bellator/TNA, but are Bellator really going to mention that Tito clocked Rampage with a Hammer (ATTEMPTED FUCKING MURDER!) in the lead-up to a PPV fight?

Wow from reading all of this, it appears TNA creatively is down the toilet, what the hell are they thinking there? The hammer stuff in particular sounds ridiculous.

are we not okay with spoilers in here anyway?

What was the deal with distracting the ref in the Ladder Match too? Im just watching the recap videos but its surely a NO DQ match right or because its in the BFG series were there different rules in place?

Anyway, the company remains clueless.
