Tuesday night's TNA Impact Wrestling, featuring Kurt Angle vs. World Heavyweight Champion Matt Hardy, drew 295,000 viewers. This is down from last week's 339,000 viewers.

 

Impact ranked #129 for the night on cable in the top 150, a drop from last week's #94.

Intrigued to see how wrestleuk will spin this one

For balance it's worth stating again, a difference of that many viewers using the Nielsen system is not particually significant.

Personally thought this weeks show was rather dull the ec3 promo was the only real highlight for me nothing especially bad just rather dull throughout

 

Easily the poorest show of the poptv era and not particularly surprising there was a viewership slip

Is Impact over here any more? Can only find Xplosion on Challenge. I've resorted to watch British Wrestling Weekly on Made In Tyne & Wear as of late (probably better than Impact mind)

I think the only showing is Sunday nights at 9pm (well also 10pm on +1)

However they've just announced that the ppvs are now going to be on Saturdays instead of Wednesday's which I doubt anyone is bothered about when it comes to the ONO ppvs but when it comes to bound for glory or slammiversary who the hell is going to wait 6 days

Lmao I've never watched it on challenge if I'm awake I stream live if I'm not I watch it on watch wrestling the next day back in the day i would torrent it

Even the replays of raw only amassed an additional 18,000 additional viewers

Sky subscribers are around the 12 million mark, not all of those will have sky sports, even if you (generously) say 2/3 of them do that's still only 8,000,000, compared to the 25 million homes that have access to freeview.

 

 

I've always wondered what sort of viewing figures one of the WWE highlight shows would do if it was on ITV on a saturday morning

In more homes it may be however sky sports is watched by an average of 2 million viewers for premier league football

Even the live nfl games on sky sports do double what any WWE shows do so its not as if it's only available in the homes of the 94,000 watching raw or the 53,000 watching smackdown

What I was referring to was that it's not as if sub 100,000 viewers is the glass ceiling on sky so it's not as if WWE couldn't do better there's no reason other than viewer preference it doesn't do TNA numbers on sky sports
