Bizarre Impact this week. It's a bit concerning how much they're glorying Dixie going through the table.

They seem to have mentioned it more times than the WWE mentioned Lesnar ending The Streak the night after Mania.

Spud's brilliant though.

We've heard from multiple TNA talents that Bully Ray held a meeting with the roster working tonight's live event in Hagerstown, MD and informed them he wanted to personally tell them goodbye as he didn't expect to be back for the company. In asking around, Ray's contract is expiring and tonight's live event is the last show he is contracted to appear on. Based on what Ray told the locker room, obviously the two sides have not come to terms on a new deal. What is amazing about this is that Ray (along with his partner Devon) is scheduled to be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame at Bound for Glory this October. TNA also has one match left in a series of bouts Ray was heavily involved in at the last set of Impact Wrestling tapings, which means that if he departs, they will be left scrambling to end that series without him. Ray had been the central point of the company over the last year, first with a heel run as the central figure behind Aces & Eights, which brought him his first TNA championship and as a babyface pursuing Dixie Carter to put her through a table. That angle was something that Ray pitched to TNA management. Ray has been with TNA since 2005 following runs in the original ECW and WWE. During the TNA run he morphed from one half of Team 3D to a legitimate top singles star.

There are no other dates scheduled after the next set of tapings. Its possible they are all done next month. They really, really should have re-signed Bully Ray. He's their most pushed act. For moral they had to re-sign him, even if it was just on a 3 month deal. What does it tell the locker room when the guy who was the most heavily featured person both in the ring and as far as promoting the events around New York is no longer there.

Bully seemed to be holding a lot together backstage. Like he was contributing a la ECW. Astounding if he has not been re-signed, unless it's his call.

Do we think that WWE would re-sign him if he left TNA/TNA folded?

I'd imagine there would be an appetite for WWE to bring The Dudley's in for a RVD type role, and ultimately have at least one of them involved in the training farm. Irrespective of TNA folding.

Is this show being broadcast?

october sometime.

I'm hoping Challenge TV bought into the atmosphere and air the whole "UK final" episode as a special. A good card full of enjoyable matches and great advert for the overall scene would hate them to condense it in to a standard half hour episode of Boot Camp.

The Dudleys said they otped to not re-sign with WWE because they don't have a tag division and there would generally be nobody for them to feud with or work with. Maybe theyre a bit more up for it now. Batista mentioned in his book how he didnt like him at all and from what i gathered Randy Orton pretty much feels the same, so that may have a bearing on whether or not they want them back.

That's a lie, though. They were sacked and it was only through Paul Heyman campaigning that they were allowed on the One Night Stand PPV. They've been away the best part of a decade and their contracts have been up countless times. You'd think if they were going to come back, they'd have been asked by now. You dont even hear of WWE being in talks with them when they contracts come up.

I was always under the assumption they didn't re-sign due to money issues. Vince offered them a lower deal which they thought was insulting. This was around the time they sacked off a ton of talent due to business being down.

Just through a bit of twitter browsing, it appears that Rafael Morffi - a TNA employee in charge of the companies live event and touring schedule has left the company and found a new job. This is another worrying departure as it spells out that there isn't any live events left for him to manage which is clear from their online schedule already.
