Jizzlobber Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 I'm not sure if the match will happen or if I even want it to happen, but the end to that podcast was truly mesmerizing. The way the conversation seamlessly transitioned from shoot to a work was masterful. Not many could have pulled that off. Funny how they spent a good portion of the show educating the roster how to sell a match, then went and showed them how it's done.

He kicked out of everyones finisher and everyone kicked out of his. 2001 was the worst year for that. Especially the odd trend of the other person doing the other persons finisher to them (which was great in Smackdown Here Comes the Pain).

Though in fairness, Austin and Heyman could sit and talk about flower arranging for an hour and it would probably be engaging. Heyman made an interesting point at the beginning. It is quite ridiculous that the hottest star in the history of pro-wrestling is sat there interviewing people. It says a lot about Austin's personality that he's no problem doing it. It also makes comments like "Austin talked too much" utterly fucking cretinous. Agree with Ian on the hypocrisy. Also thought the thing about DDTs was odd because the aura of the DDT was absolutely trashed in the late nineties. Maybe Austin's mind is as shot as he says. They need to get The Rock on next.

Highly enjoyed it, much more than if Jericho got the interview and did his Nigel Tufnel bollocks. Austin cutting the promo at the end was superb. Money.

But doing it in every match makes each opponent look fucking stupid for walking into it. I know there are a lot of moves like that but this one really stands out.

The end was Austin trying to remain professional but struggling to keep Stone Cold in check. Perfect stuff, loved it 100%

They arent even in the same universe. One is trying to be an unnatural David Lee Roth and the other is probably the most naturally charismatic man I've ever seen talk. There's zero comparison.
