WestCoastPop619
So now they have this footage.. What footage doesn't Vince own now? Or is there any worth having still?
Moderators PowerButchi Posted October 23, 2012 Moderators Share Posted October 23, 2012 There's the Memphis footage, but apparently the ownership of that is a massive and weird clusterfuck. He doesn't have WCW (Australia) either, and I'd love to see some more of that.
WestCoastPop619
WCW Australlia... Wow! What's that all about? I must say that's a new one on me.Memphis footage, what's the story there? Am guessing it belonging to different people etc

Moderators PowerButchi Posted October 23, 2012 Moderators Share Posted October 23, 2012 The AWF? Yeah, I'd like to see more of that too. Along with a complete collection of Abrams' Super Duper UWF.

Forrest
Memphis footage, what's the story there? Am guessing it belonging to different people etc  I think itaks a case of so many people owning different footage that certain people claim ownership of pieces of footage, that the whole thing is such a legal mess that trying to track down all the owners, sort out the legal wranglings and then buy them out is such a waste of time, effort and money that it's not even worth trying? Hamboy
I imagine WWE will end up buying the ROH footage when that goes tits up as well, if only for Daniel Bryan/CM Punk ect DVD releases. The Punk DVD, for example, was excellent, but the match selection felt incomplete without some of the ROH matches that were referenced in the documentary. AshC
Did they get the XWF stuff a few years ago, or did Jimmy Hart just cut a deal with Vince for the Hogan/Hennig match to appear on his mate's set? Â Who owns the WWA stuff? Would they be interested in that? Edited October 24, 2012 by AshC
pgi86
Did they get the XWF stuff a few years ago, or did Jimmy Hart just cut a deal with Vince for the Hogan/Hennig match to appear on his mate's set? That was just a one-match deal. Jimmy Hart still has the XWF footage.
