alanjay69 Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Sharktopus. Half shark, half octopus. Nuff said   agree there, this pisses over Mega Shark.  if wanting more recent stuff then maybe Black Sheep but if you fancy something from the past then its gotta be Plan 9 From Outer Space.  if you're a fan of Peter Jackson then you have to get his earlier work...low budget gore at its best. or infact anything by Troma
Paid Members JohnnyChimpo Posted June 15, 2011 Paid Members Posted June 15, 2011 Species. Shrooms. Â Anyone ever see a film called Stay Alive? Its about a video game where if you die in the game, you'll be offed in real life? Malcolm from from Malcolm in the Middle is in it. It was great - relatively speaking. Â Please recommend some more movies... if these are anything to go by, you are on your way to compiling a comprehensive 'must miss' list. Â Get fucked. Species is awesome. Â They're B movies for a reason. Most of them are pretty shit, but some are in the so bad they're good category. Like Stay Alive.

I've for some reason alternately liked, hated, then liked it again whenever I've seen it or seen bits of it. Â One thing doesn't change, though: Natasha Henstridge in human form is always great to look at.
Moderators Astro Hollywood Posted June 15, 2011 Moderators Posted June 15, 2011 Killer Klowns from Outer Space. People might pimp it like it's a 'so bad it's good' kinda film, but it's actually just outright great, and B-Movie as fuck.
The Maestro Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Hell Comes To Frogtown - Mutants, women treated like dirt and Roddy Piper. What more could you want! Â Also, does Starship Troopers count as a B-Movie? If so, I pick this.
rubbafish Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Killer Klowns... The Calamari Wrestler Return Of The Killer Tomatoes Best Of The Best No Retreat, No Surrender
Philo_Vance Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 The story of ricky. Close the thread, I've won.
Paid Members ReturnOfTheMack Posted June 15, 2011 Paid Members Posted June 15, 2011 Fucking hell Pat, you a fan of Rutger Hauer then? Some cracking films there.
Paid Members Carbomb Posted June 15, 2011 Paid Members Posted June 15, 2011 Yeah, pat and I discussed "Blind Fury" on the Films thread a while back. Fun little bit of nonsense. Â Also, No Retreat, No Surrender is mint.
Smeg_&_The_Heads Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Q The winged Serpent is fucking awesome and should be seen by everyone  That was one of the very 1st horror films I ever watched I must of been about 4 years old I haven't seen it in about 20 odd years maybe I should look up the DVD   Killer Klowns from Outer Space. People might pimp it like it's a 'so bad it's good' kinda film, but it's actually just outright great, and B-Movie as fuck. They are working on part 2 now  Return Of The Killer Klowns from Outer Space
patiirc Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Fucking hell Pat, you a fan of Rutger Hauer then? Some cracking films there.  Ish, just watched a lot of 'trashy' B movies in my time. Though not many recently  There is a good NZ/Australian end of the world one that I can never remember the name of. Quiet Earth possibly
Clumsy Dad Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 If you want some ridiculously over the top action films then Action Jackson and Stone Cold are both worth checking out. Â With Rutger Hauer's name coming up a few times I
Paid Members Carbomb Posted June 15, 2011 Paid Members Posted June 15, 2011 I saw a film called Teeth a few months ago on the Horror Channel, as you
Paid Members chokeout Posted June 15, 2011 Paid Members Posted June 15, 2011 Q The winged Serpent is fucking awesome and should be seen by everyone  That was one of the very 1st horror films I ever watched I must of been about 4 years old I haven't seen it in about 20 odd years maybe I should look up the DVD   Well worth a look. my first memory of it is seeing it on BBC2 about 20+ years ago. All of Larry Cohens films are worth checking out. The guy was fucking insane. Go to imdb and check his films up to about 1993ish. A quality stand out is 'The Stuff'  Weird yummy goo erupts from the earth and is discovered by a couple of miners. They taste it and decide to market it because it tastes so good. The American public literally eats up the new dessert sensation now known as the Stuff but, unfortunately, it takes over the brains of those who eat it, turning them into zombie-like creatures. It is up to ex-FBI agent David Rutherford and a kid named Jason to stop the spread of the mind-devouring dessert Â
Paid Members FLips Posted June 15, 2011 Paid Members Posted June 15, 2011 Frankenfish! Watched it with a mate years ago and it's shockingly bad, but extremely enjoyable. The best type of B movie.
