And apparently they have also bought impactwrestling.com. "IMPACT WRESTLING" *CLAP* CLAP* *CLAP**CLAP**CLAP* Â Kinda works. Â Bugger. They need to change their name to something impossible to chant. Phoenix Posted April 28, 2011 Share Posted April 28, 2011 Seems a bit weird to change a known and (somewhat) working brand but, if they do go with 'Impact Wrestling' I suppose they can always keep the 'total non-stop action' part as a tagline purely for continuity/awareness purposes. But "Impact" is the name of a television show that nobody wants to watch. Surely if they wanted a more credible name, it wouldnt be a name that isnt currently apart of there whole setup anyway. I'd understand if they wanted a more traditional name like IPW or WWI or something. But "Impact Wrestling" sounds a bit mental. Â If they change the name, wont they have to change the whole set up?
