The only brief I set myself was to go where the mood took us

Also, awesome work whoever it was that posted Sneaker Pimps. I totally forgot about that song.

Kelli Dayton is still recording, now as Kelli Ali. She still looks slutty hot.

Here's a collection of 90s Mark & Lard Records Of The Week.

The Sundays - Summertime

Super Furry Animals - Ice Hockey Hair

Sparklehorse - Sick Of Goodbyes

Grandaddy - AM 180

Doves - Sea Song

Blondie - Maria

The Flaming Lips - Race For The Prize

Wheat - Don't I Hold You

Some of your choices in there almost gave me a semi. Velocette were near perfection, 'Spoiled Children' being my own personal favourite. AM 180 is just joyous (amazingly, the Fightstar cover of it is pretty damn good) and throwing in some anthemic Embrace. Sounds like the start of a perfect commuting setlist to me!

^ Ooh, didn't know it was used on a soundtrack, thought it was a bit too obscure for that.

It's a great song and the whole Fourfold Remedy album is just great too. Mark & Lard could always be relied upon for some great records even during a mid afternoon Radio 1 slot. I think AM 180 was voted by listeners as their record of the year in 1998.
