Add another to the list of people who are gutted Sotiropolis is out, his ability to pass guard so smoothly is great to watch.

Yeah that's a shame. I was looking forward to the Gomi fight. It would have been interesting because Gomi's had problems with submissions for years but on the other hand Sot's not got the best chin and Gomi still carries serious power. I'd have given Gomi a better shot than most at that fight because I'm not sure Sot would have got him down and he's been KO'd by lesser punchers than Gomi, including other southpaws like Dos Anjos.

Sotiropoulos vs Guillard would be good when he's healthy. Although I think they might wanna give him a slightly less easier fight maybe.

Some hackers have just posted all Dana's personal details online, his phone number, social security number, home addresses, criminal record, vehicle details etc.

Apparently they got the wrong Dana White who is a woman who lives in Las Vegas, she received over 500 phone calls in a day.

 Poor woman. Really though these hackers need to fuck off. It's one thing trying to piss Dana off which as we've seen over the years isn't very difficult to do. But when you start fucking about with a man's personal info and contact details that's going overboard imo. He's got a wife and kids and as much as this SOPA thing sounds shitty, a man's family could potentially get aggro off this if some knob gets his address and causes trouble because he can't find a good streaming porn site as easy? Getting the wrong Dana White just shows the hackers are not the geniuses they think they are.

That kind of behaviour hurts their otherwise valid argument against SOPA in the long run.

Tito and Forrest Griffin are campaigning for another fight against each other, which I would like to see again.

I'd be fine with that. Both fights ended in split decisions, the first won by Ortiz and the second by Griffin so a rubber match is needed. I didn't watch their second fight but I watched the first one, I thought Griffin won.

Tito's got 1 fight left on his current deal right? If so, this fight makes sense for both of them at this stage of their respective careers. If Tito wants to carry on a move to Strikeforce might not be a bad option for him?

Yeah Tito vs Forrest 3 makes sense. It's pretty much the only fight that does make sense for Tito and it's about as big a fight as he can expect at this point. Tito vs Rich Franklin would be another possibiiity but a Griffin rubber match would be better.

In other news Babalu Sobral vs Melvin Manhoef is gonna main event ONE FC in March. I'll tune in for that. Interesting match up cos they both have a strength that is the other's weakness. Depends who can dictate where the fight takes place.

I was under the impression from Tito's comments that his next fight will be his last.

yeh it's a retirement fight, its the perfect fight for Tito to take. There's not many 'name' guys that Tito can compete with these days, Forest is one though and it'll settle a score so it's perfect. It could possibly headline a PPV too, i'd buy it.

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is openly talking about a move up to heavyweight, but before he can do that he's going to have to convince his bosses, who aren't enthusiastic about the idea.

Jones revealed on The MMA Hour that he has already told UFC President Dana White and UFC co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta that he would like to move up to heavyweight if he beats the top two light heavyweight contenders, Rashad Evans and Dan Henderson. But Jones said the UFC has other ideas.

"I actually asked Dana and Lorenzo, could I take a fight for the fans at the end of 2012," Jones said. "I figured beating Henderson and Rashad, there would be a period where we'd figure out who I'm going to fight next, and during that period, at the end of 2012, I asked to fight a heavyweight -- a Top 10 heavyweight."

Jones, however, said the UFC doesn't like that idea.

"Dana and Lorenzo didn't think that was the best for me to do right now," Jones said. "They wanted me to continue at the light heavyweight division. ... They said they didn't want that for me."

It's not surprising that the UFC told Jones to stay focused on his own weight class: He's still got business to attend to at 205 pounds, and the UFC has only had champions move up in weight on a handful of occasions.

Eventually, however, moving up to heavyweight may be the right move for Jones. He can still make 205 pounds comfortably, but as he moves into his mid- to late-20s, that might become more difficult. And that's when the UFC might be ready for its light heavyweight champion to make a permanent move and contend for the heavyweight title.

According to MMAJunkie Alistair Overeem has been charged with battery in Las Vegas.

No not the battery on Brock but he's said to have pushed a woman in the face in a casino in Vegas not long after UFC 141 and he's gonna have to go to court over it.
