Just got a copy of the documentary 'Salad Days', which covers the DC Hardcore scene and the impact of Dischord Records. I've still got the '20 Years of Dischord' box set somewhere which is absolutely fantastic

Not a massive hardcore fan but saw this back in July and thought it was great.

Satyricon self confirmed for Bloodstock, then pulled the post. So that's bound to be announced officially soon. They are playing Nemesis Divina in full on their dates next year apparently, so it's likely we'll get that. Twisted Sister are promising another date on their final tour will be announced before the end of the week. So seems they'll be the main announcement tomorrow.

That's what was uploaded and then deleted. If the timing on that (7pm on the Sunday) is accurate, that will have them in a subheadlined/special guest slot.

Couldn't care less about Twisted Sister as they haven't been relevant for nearly 30 years and even then they were a second rate KISS. Last thing I heard by them was 'Still Hungry' and that was fucking terrible.

For anyone heading to the Motley Crüe tour at the end of the year, Tommy Lee missed last nights show in Buffalo due to tendinitis in his wrist. Glen Sobel, who plays in Alice Cooper's band and will be on the UK tour filled in for him. He'll most likely recover by the time the UK tour happens, but there is a slight possibility he may not

Im more of a Volcano-onwards Satyricon fan but it'll be great to see them there whatever.

As for Twisted Sister. Saw them headline there back in like 2010 and they were great, Snider's a great frontman.

Bit underwhelmed by that to be honest. I'm a Maiden and everything, but they were only there the other year.

Will wait and see who else gets announced before I commit myself to a ticket.

£100 says they announce some kind of tour at the end of the end of their set

Maiden advertised as 'only UK show this year'. If there is a tour it'll be 2017.

Iron Maiden are headlining on the Sunday, I'm seeing a bunch of their fans crying because there isn't an actual tour next year.

It is a bit shit to be fair.

If they only play Download in 2016 then one UK show in 15 months after the album coming out is a bit off.
