Has anyone seen Justified?, I caught a glimpse of it on FiveUSA a couple of weeks ago and noticed that the main man Walton Goggins is in it, so I'm thinking of giving it a blast. Any good?.

Cleetus, it's great. Timothy Olyphant is really good in it, probably even better than in Deadwood. Essentially, every episode he ends up blowing some motherfucker away, and being totally cool whilst he does. There are some cool antagonists too, particularly your man Walton Goggins, but also M.C Gainey as his badass dad (Swamp Thing from Con Air).

You'll love it.

I knew I could trust your judgement. It's fantastic eh?, I'm up to episode 8 now. Definitely the best I've ever seen Olyphant perform, Raylan might be my favourite lead character I've seen since The Shield ended. Walton Goggins is as great as I expected, it'd be easy to go too over the top playing the role, but he gets the balance spot-on, as he always does. You can't tell if he actually believes what he's saying or not, the interactions between him and Raylan have all been amazing.

SPOILER - Highlight the black box to read

The scene with Boyd leaving prison being accompanied by Raylan was one of the best I've seen in recent memory. Everything about it was great. Especially the dialogue

Cheers, Loki. 10/10

Double fanny?

Surely she should be earning a decent wage from freakshows/porn instead of having Dr Pixie grimacing at her?

:laugh::p

Been Sky +'ing Bo USA! off 4Music. Remember thinking it was too silly at the time, handy I've got sillier as I've got older, I now fucking LOVE IT!!!

They're also showing Russell Brand's Ponderland series 2 at the minute.

Also on Sky Atlantic, I caught the pilot of Six Feet Under. Can't believe I hadn't seen it before now. it was superb.

I'm in the same boat and had never even heard of it until I read up on Michael C. Hall after getting in to Dexter. I've got the pilot saved on my planner and will hopefully catch it over the weekend.

Also, does anyone watch that Gypsy programme which seems to invade my Facebook news feed every week? What's the score with it? It seems it's mainly women who watch it but a few lads I know have said it's 'essential' viewing. Are they right or are they idiots? I doubt it's my cup of tea, to be honest.

My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding. It's car crash TV to be honest. It's one of those point and laugh shows that tries to disguise its self as a fly on the wall documentary to show insight. Like those Channel 5 ones do with people with deformities.

And Six Feet Under is boss.

It was good this week as it had some Pikey fights but that is what Youtube is for, bare knuckle boxing. Although one of the boys in this clip (Paddy Doherty) was the focal point of the Gypsy show this past week

(youtube link didn't work for me)

Was it the bare-knuckle boxer who was on a Bravo programme (with Danny Dyer)? Remember him saying, "don't call me a pikey, call me a cunt, but don't call me a pikey".

I'm without Sky for a couple of weeks, just when Extreme are showing WEC cards :( Looks I'll watching be watching more e4 and bbc 3. Still got Showcase (201) for my tinfoil-hat viewing

Yay! Still got Russia Today and Al Jazeera English

Cheers Keef. I'll definitely give Six Feet Under a good go. The Gypsy thing, probably not so much.

I watched Six feet under at UK pace, I think it finished 2006ish and I absolutely loved it. Some of the best dialogue in drama ever. Its in a different universe to True Blood (both written by Alan Ball) so dont be put off if you didnt like the latter.

Ive been watching the Gypsy Wedding show purely because its 1000 times weirder than I imagined. Their whole little culture is pretty fascinating. The rapey "grabbing" ritual, the fact the girls dont sleep around but dress and dance like strippers, marrying very young and how the girls basically clean the caravan/chalet till they die etc.

I dont even laugh much its just very strange and sad.

Something I do laugh at however is Archer.

Season 2 has just started in the US, I believe its shown on FX over here. Archer is an animated show based around a secret service agency. Archer is a top spy/agent there and his mother is the boss. Archer is a selfish (funny) prick who clashes with his mother and the rest of the agency, which includes his former girlfriend.

Adam Reed, the creator described it as "James Bond meets Arrested Development". Big cast of characters, family clashes and lots of inside/recurring jokes. The animation and general style make it stand out too. Its hilarious and brilliant.

Aye, that's the fella.

Been watching the "Justice" series on BBC4, this was last nights.

"Harvard professor Michael Sandel examines Immanuel Kant's stringent theory of morality, which says that telling any type of lie is a violation of one's own dignity."

Archer is great. Not suprised he's comparing it to Arrested, seeing as there's 3 different actors from Arrested doing voices in it for characters that are not disimilar to their characters from that. In a good way though. Also the guy who does the voice for Sterling Archer is great - he's the main voice talent from Dr. Katz and Home Movies, two other animations that never got too much shine but were really funny.

It's also a really filthy show. Again, in a good way.
