What exactly is a Bunkhouse Match?

A "Bunkhouse Stampede" match? From the Wiki...

In 1985, the NWA's Jim Crockett Promotions came up with a new match to increase the fans' interest in their product. The Bunkhouse Stampede was a regular battle royal where the wrestlers wore "bunkhouse gear" (blue jeans and cowboy boots, etc.) to the match, similar to 'street fight' matches. Weapons were also allowed. For example, Ivan and Nikita Koloff brought their "Russian" chains to the ring, and the Road Warriors brought their spikes, others used trash can lids and leather straps. To win this match, a wrestler had to be the last one in the ring, with all of the other wrestlers having been thrown over the top rope. These were most often bloody matches, as there were several weapons involved.

Each year, there were several Bunkhouse Stampedes held in the prior weeks, with the winners of each one going to the final Bunkhouse Stampede to battle for the championship. They began in 1985, and the last was held in 1989, after which it was abandoned. The winner was awarded a large bronze cowboy boot.

when the wwe has shows in germany or elsewhere do they use local talent from those countries as talent enhancement? in fact i'm not sure if the wwe has done any raw/smackdown/ecw tapings else where in europe so maybe they havent had the need?

as a side question how do they decide what British talent to use on the shows? is it people they have scouted and are potentially interested in signing? or do they have like a uk wrestling contact who arranges people for them? I guess that maybe all the talent could come from the same uk federation (sorry i'm not very up on the uk scene at all)

They generally only ever tape in the UK when their out of the US, only other place in recent memory I can think of is in Milan when Santino Marella beat Umaga for the IC Title. But they used no enhancement talent on that show.

I can't remember the names but WWE have a couple of people who they ask to bring talent to the shows and I think usually they just depend on what WWE prefers to use looks wise. It will be no different to what they do in the US, just have different contacts in different states ect. Thats how Edge & Christian and the Hardys got their start in WWE. Hope that helps.

I've just bought a PS3 with Legends of Wrestlemania. I imported music via a external hard drive and then assinged it to the wrestlers. But the music skips a lot or goes really slow during the entrances. Anyone know what this is and/or how I can fix this? Thanks in advance.

Anyone know what the deal is with Hurricane/Gregory Helms??

I see he's doing backstage interviews on ECW now, so has his in-ring run officially ended? I didn't read anywhere that he was definitely done, so did I just miss that?

I think it's just a way to keep him on-screen for the time being. He's not finished as a wrestler, he had some sort of injury (Shoulder I think) which has been keeping him out of action lately I heard.

I've just been watching highlights of a match from the MPW (I think) Masked Tournament from a few years ago, between Dirt Bike Kid and Great Sasuke.

Dirt Bike Kid unmasked before the match (it was only the loser of the final that was supposed to) and as a result, it looked like Great Sasuke literally kicked ten bags of crap out of him.

Did he actually shoot on him, or was it just very convincing? Also, is there any more back story other than "he unmasked when he wasn't supposed to"?

Thanks.

Everywhere I've read, said that it was pretty much a shoot, with Sasuke kicking the ever-living shit out of him.

Apparently he was shooting his mouth backstage too, then was stiffing Sasuke in the match, so he lost it.
