I'm not really educated on the conspiracy/illuminati stuff, but I have just stumbled upon this video. Basically, it's a breakdown of Taylor Swifts 'We are never ever getting back together' track, pointing out hand gestures that she does in the music video.

The description below the video says: Taylor Swift's "Never Ever Again" music video contains elements associates with the Illuminati, Freemasonry, Satanism, and the occult. This includes the use of the Mano Cornuto, a.k.a. Devil's Horns hand sign, and people dressing up like animals.

My ex's dad works in advertising; he was a big deal in the 80's, loads of awards in their house, had adverts screened at Cannes, etc. He said that back then absolutely everyone in the industry has to be a mason in order to get anywhere. Not particularly active members, he never went to meetings (although he did get his dad into it after he retired so he still had something to focus on) but it was just something you had to do to get ahead.

I've no idea if this is still the case but when one of my conspiracy nut mates was pointing out similar things in (I think) a Rhianna video, I relayed the above story to him and said that, if anything, it's just some young guy who's inserted things like that to take the piss. He jumped all over it and kept going on about how it explained everything. I don't think any of them realise how harmless the masons are. They're essentially just an old boys club.

Exactly. My uncle is a free mason and he says all they do is meet occassionally for dinners and piss ups, because they make friends there they will often do business with eachother and they raise money for charity.

More than anything it's a good place for businessmen to get a chance to socialise with a similar social group that they may not have had the chance to otherwise.

She went mental ages ago so this recent turn of events doesn't surprise me at all.

This comment is spot on though.

The thing is, most of those internet conspiracy theorists are profoundly narcissistic. They spend a lot of time attacking other conspiracy theorists who's ideas are sightly different than their own. They frequently say things like, "Only I have realized this." or "I'm the only one with the courage to say this." I can deal with crazy, I just can't deal with crazy and condescending.

My wife's step-dad is a Mason and when he occasionally leaves his wee "wizarding books" (as she calls them) lying around, it seems quite religious. Is that the case?

when I done my door supervisors course it was held at the gateshead masonic lodge, The elderly steward was very welcoming said we could go anywhere except the Temple, he said if we wanted to go in there we would have to get him and he would show us around other then that it seemed like a social club

here's an old favorite...the moon landing conspiracies.

i just listened the Joe Rogan interview where he puts his theories to a atronomer expert and asks for his opinions (link in the Rogan thread). The guys gives some solid answers to some questions but he's unsure on others, it was a fascinating little listen.

Anyway's, i know it's been done to death but ive only ever really briefly looked into it. Is there like a definitive debunking of it all? i watched an old Fox documentary last night that raises the same questions, but id like to hear/read a proper explanation.

im assuming someone here know alot more than me, so hook a brother up...

Whilst you could go on to say the pictures have been created digitally, photos have been seen for over a year now, using high powered telescopes, in which you can see the lunar landing sites. That proves it for me though.
