Very sorry to hear that and i can’t imagine how the last few years have been for you. Not to jump into solution mode but is adoption or fostering completely off the table ? It’s not for everyone so i would understand completely if it was. Look after yourself.

I know that can't have been an easy decision to make. Take all the time you need and I'm sure you will have ups and downs - it's grieving in its own way and that is always up and down. Most of all, be kind and compassionate with yourselves and do what you need to do to protect yourselves, don't feel guilty for it.

I really admire people who adopt or foster, but its just not for us.
