Is this anything to do with the Danhausen Halloween special that keeps turning up in my Youtube recommendations even though I've not watched any wrestling in yonks?
-
Alistair Ralphs is conspicuous by his absence.

I had one of that wrestling comedian bloke's videos on yesterday about those WWF tribute shows everyone used to do. I'm pretty sure he namechecked our very own @JNLister at one point. He's also sat in front of a green screen (or worse is using A1 to add in the background) designed to look like the pro wrestling equivalent of those rooms retro gaming Youtubers have with all the games and posters rather than just sitting in an actual room with posters up. He sits very still and has a really weird outline, which is why I think it's an A1 thing rather than actual green screen.

It's so they can blame him instead of the A1 when people complain about the booking.

The spiced hoops from Tesco are good. I had some of them a few days ago.

Getting caught up with Gone Fishing and the talk of losing family members on the series 8 Christmas episode had me a bit emotional. It's still one of the best things on the telly. Won't be the same without Ted, though.

Inconceivable!

Yeah, I hear there's a lot of love for Cyberpunk now it's been fixed. A friend of mine as picked it up recently and having a great time with it. All the Borderlands games appear to be on sale on various platforms at the moment. I picked up the first one for £4 on Steam, although that was through Loaded FKA CDKeys. The Handsome Collection and the Pandora's Box collection are reduced on Switch. Handsome Collection is £8.74 and I think Pandora's Box is about £25. There are also some great discounts on Resident Evil games on XBox at the moment, the originals and the remasters.

I saw Ghostbusters 2 at the cinema when it came out, and I don't think I've seen it once since. I've seen the first one plenty of times. It's a classic. I used to have a little "book of the film" novella type book of Ghostbusters 2 as well. Really easy read. I think I was about 8 at the time? It's no Back To The Future 2, is it?

Lego City Undercover is a lot of fun, is usually on sale and probably short enough that you could crack through it while you wait for GTA6. I'd also recommens the first Marvel Superheroes Lego. If you're a fan of Minecraft etc Lego Worlds is supposed to be good, but I'm not always a fan of how open these kinds of games are.

It's dreadful. The things these big companies will do to make it look like they're turning a bigger profit just so they can give their CEO a nice big bonus.

I like that it does it for the Soulwax remixes playlist I follow, the little AI DJ even has a name, but for my other playlists I've always just had the crossfade set to 0 seconds for everything else so there's no gap, which is handy for live albums etc. It should be in the settings somewhere. If you're on the android app press on your profile picture, then the settings and there should be a option that says "playback" where you can turn automix off.

How long did they have to queue before they had to wait for their coffee? Entitled pricks.

I think I read somewhere the cast were signed on for three movies. Even if there's no real market for cinematic releases they'll go straight to streaming in the hopes that some die hard Street Fighter fans will sign up for Paramount Plus. They could even animate them to save on budget. I think we will get a sequel, I just don't think I'll be booking into a 10am Saturday showing for it. Also I still need to finish watching Cheers and the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon.

Pass him our best wishes.

He was great in Star Trek IV looking for the Nuclear Wessels. 90 is a decent knock.

Eric Bauza, who was the guy currently voicing some of the Looney Tunes characters has passed away suddenly at the age of 46. That's the same age as me. I know most of us are probably more familiar with Mel Blanc doing the voices, but this is such a shame.

It's E4 nowadays, isn't it? After Disney+, of course. What will they fill the schedule with now?

I picked it up for a couple of quid on GOG as part of a sale. I've got the second one on my wishlist as well in case such a discount comes along again.

He'd only had 14 games in charge. Must not have figured out his best players yet. The championship is a very difficult league due to the potential fixture congestion, how competitive the teams are. To have never managed in England before and get thrown into the Championship is a heck of a baptism of fire. Rovers/Burnley banter aside he needed more time. Bloody hell, if chairmen back in the 80s had this kind of mentality Alex Ferguson would never have had the time he did at United. Who's going to want that job now? They get Scott Parker back? Owen Coyne? With the players they had they'd have been climbing back up the table as soon as it'd clicked for him. They'd probably have been in with a shout of the playoffs. Unfortunately this is how football clubs tend to be run nowadays. It's not like Venky's have ever done the same with Blackburn managers.

All that black void stuff reminds me of is old episodes of Alas Smith & Jones.

As soon as they came around to the final vote I knew it was going to be this episode's cliffhanger. Unless they're somehow spending an hour showing the traitors deliberating over who to murder on Thursday this week's murder will be of little consequence. I guess they could murder Romesh or Bash to try and put a little heat in the direction of Michael, but whoever gets voted out the other one more than likely gets banished next. All three of them getting to be put forward for the special dagger was pretty funny. Unless at least one of the traitors messes up massively or they start trying to throw each other under the bus I honestly can see the final being them and one faithful, as anticlimactic as that may seem.
