  1. I have Sleeping Dogs on PS4. I started playing it and liked the unique elements like trying not to get too deep in your undercover work, or appear too close to the police in case you blow your cover. Maybe I should sign my account in on Vicky's PS4 so I can have another play of it. Although I'd have to drag myself away from Borderlands to do that.
  2. Another decent result today. Didn't expect anything against Wrexham. I have a feeling this is a case of "get as many points as possible before it all goes tits up and we end up in free fall" than any real promotion push, though. Also really happy with the Burnley manager's unique approach to getting them out of the Championship.
  3. My two choices would be either Miranda to put suspicion on Joanne or Romesh to put some suspicion on Little Mix. I'd also start wondering how Michael Sheen has been calling the shots at roundtables without any suspicion being on him, or sowing the seeds of it in the hopes that somebody picks up on it. Vicky hopes they murder Miranda because she's not a fan.
  4. I can't decide whether Gay Ludwig Hitler or George Washington Hitler is the better name.
  5. I always thought it was Mongoose as well.
  6. The Mafia games came into their own over time as well.
  7. You may be able to make WiFi calls as well.
  8. The only ones that are even vaguely useful are the Dyson ones, and the ones that try to rip off the Dyson ones. I much prefer paper towels. When I worked in Stockport they used to have those ones that were like a long proper towel on a roll. I get why they'd phase them out though as they'd likely be far from hygienic.
  9. I'm more interested in the Danish model where they offer offenders counselling and help to try and work out the issues that led to the crime(s) being committed and support them through their rehabilitation.
  10. Mass Effect Andromeda got written off for having the audacity to not be a Mass Effect sequel, but a spin-off. It didn't help that it was really buggy when it came out, but I thought it was a decent enough game. There was only so much Shepherd and Reapers they could do, especially after the whole debacle over the ending of the third one. Maybe they should have called it Andromeda: A Mass Effect Adjacent Adventure or something to try and establish that it was set in the same universe but didn't follow on from the original Trilogy. I picked up a new pad so I could split screen Borderlands with Vicky, and it's decent. It's a Turtle Beach Rematch Advance. I managed to find one in great condition for £15 on eBay. Does what I need it to. The d-pad is a little spongy, but everything else works fine. There are locks for the triggers so they have less travel, which is useful for shooters, then you can unlock them for playing driving games etc. It also has some triggers underneath which are currently set to A & B, so I have easier access to jump and crouch without having to take my thumb off the right stick. I may try and pick some caps up for the analogue sticks because they feel a bit weird. Had a look online for some and I can't believe how expensive they are nowadays, and am baffled by the ones you can get to extend the analogue sticks which apparently means you can aim and move with more precision. Anybody got any experience with them?
  11. Terrible. I bet the head of EA will pocket a nice bonus though.
  12. I'm confusing DJ Gabriel with Justin Gabriel. They should have given him an unnecessary name change like calling him Peregrine Albatross or Rupert or something.
  13. Those Digital Eclipse collections are fantastic. The Street Fighter 30th anniversary collection is by them as well and is also on sale. I think it's £3.74? See also the Jeff Minter Story and The Story of Karateka.
  14. Metro 2033, Last Light and Exodus with 2 DLCs are currently £2.49 on XBox, unless it was one of those "special for you" deals they like to do by telling me they think I'd really like to buy something I already own.
  15. I was more a Ka drinker myself. The grape flavour is nice, and Karibbean Kola. Just make sure you never abbreviate it...
  16. That's not parked, it's been abandoned.
  17. Ron Wasserman aka Aaron Waters who did the music for the first six years, and a few later series of Power Rangers? Didn't Awesome Kong have to take time away from WWE just after she signed because she was pregnant? Braden Walker was one of the fake Stings whenever Sting did that thing where he'd take off his Sting mask to reveal he was really Sting. Weren't there also rumours he'd sometimes play Sting at house shows? He obviously also tagged with James Storm in American's Most Wanted in TNA. Earthquake was briefly Giant Golga in the Oddities.
  18. Presuably to differentiate it from a more generic one you could give to your Ken Shamrock CAW. The Shamrock one in the first Smackdown started with an armbar and then transitioned into the ankle lock. It may also have been so you knew it was the one where the opponent almost makes the ropes to break the hold, only to get dragged back to the centre of the ring and the leg grapevined.
  19. I've only seen Final Destination 3. Saw it at the cinema with some friends from work and their friends. Thought it was a comedy from how ridiculous it was. Tongue was very much in cheek throughout.
  20. That's a Mondegreen, not the Mandela Effect I think it's some kind of accounting software or company, but every time it plays on the radio I turn to Vicky and say "it's that photocopier advert again".
  21. More an invention, or evolution of an existing product: if you're driving somewhere narrow your wing-mirrors going from landscape to portrait so you've got a bit more room to manoeuvre.
  22. I think they may have tried to run with it briefly? Like how it used to be called the Olympic Slam before they decided Angle Slam would be a better name, or probably when the IOC committee started getting really letigious. See The Beer International Non-Profit Non-Governmental Sporting Quad Yearly Event by the Lancashire Hotpots for more information https://www.sthelensstar.co.uk/news/14708188.folk-band-lancashire-hotpots-ordered-to-take-olympics-out-of-song-title/
  23. Sounds like you're telling somebody to hurry up and pack your shopping.
