In fact, it's only ever really used as a stick to beat people with, and even that's stupid as you could post only in Off Topic a thousand times a day and still have 0 postcount. When I first joined UKFF, people were expected to celebrate landmark post counts (1000, 2000, etc) by posting pictures of tits. I think it stopped when people were doing it for 50th, 100th, etc too.
