Paid Members Halitosis Romantic Posted January 20, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted January 20, 2012 Â Followup to "Gimme Gimme Good Lovin'", and an absolutely towering bubblegum/garagey piece of work, that makes them seem a lot more than what one would expect from what was almost totally studio created. 10CC may have emerged from their wreckage, not quite sure. One thing I am sure of is that there is definitely not any such thing as Umbopo.

Paid Members Halitosis Romantic Posted January 20, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted January 20, 2012 Here's another one for free, then. Â Â Removed from the Helen of Troy album, probably because Cale's proto-Lydon sounding Sharon Tate reference, this cut showcases Tafflandia's finest export cracking under the strain of all the skag and booze he was pumping into his system. Taking things a notch further than Fear's 1974 track "Fear is a Man's Best Friend", "Leaving It Up to You" is the sound of a man leaving behind baroque pop, noodling with Terry Riley, and fannying around with strings, and heading towards the total psychosis of his shaven head, chicken decapitating punky years.
