Paid Members Sergio Mendacious Posted July 6, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted July 6, 2016 That's gorgeous, that is. That's the kind of music I listen to to get through the work day. Â

Paid Members Carbomb Posted July 7, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted July 7, 2016 The Anderson Tapes is a great movie. I watched it a few years ago when I saw that Sidney Lumet had passed away, and I realised I'd only seen one of his films. Went on a big Lumet binge-watch, great times. Anderson Tapes, Dog Day Afternoon, 12 Angry Men, The Offence, The Deadly Affair, Serpico - all awesome. Â Anyway, I recently went to see Earth, Wind & Fire at the O2, and they were fuggin' brilliant. Great musicians, great showmen, and Phil Bailey did a great job taking over Maurice White's vocal roles. Â This one's been stuck in my head ever since: Â
Paid Members Sergio Mendacious Posted July 7, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted July 7, 2016 I don't totally understand what I'm listening to here but I like it.  It's Jalaluddin Mansur Nuriddin from The Last Poets, from his amazing album "Hustler's Convention". Great album, it's like an Iceberg Slim novel come to life.  Also, The Last Poets are incredible.

Paid Members Sergio Mendacious Posted July 18, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted July 18, 2016 She's just wonderful.  This is right up your street, I reckon — hadn't listened to them in a while, guessing you might be fan already.
Merzbow
 Reasonably decent pop music, but what's got me hooked is the gimmick she's also playing outside of her music. The music video alone is full of illuminati and occult references but her persona outside of that is playing like an MKUltra/Monarch victim which certain loonies claim is being used on major pop stars.
