Dean Saliba
I'm trying to get hold of a wrestling match that was in Hull which had a very funny commentary recorded over it. I know I've seen it mentioned on here a lot and wondered if anyone could post a link to it?

Mr Butternut Squash
Buddy Rose video showing off his "Playboy" lifestyle  Buddy Rose!  Speaking of Buddy, somebody's posting up loads of Portland TVs from back in the day. Portland was Rose's yard so if you like Buddy (which everyone should) it's worth checking out. Most of the matches are 2/3 falls and you often get promos in between falls, so it might take some getting used to. Portland Sports Arena has one of the best atmospheres in wrestling; loads of screaming little girls, ruffians in leather jackets with hunting knives, pimping cigar man, and, of course, Granny. Promoter Don Owen's ring announcing is awful but you grow to love him and his bluntness ("I don't like to make loser leaves town matches Buddy . . . but I hate you. So lets have one next week!"). Rose himself is endlessly fun, probably the best heel ever.  Portland 1980 playlist  Alternatively just have a look at these gems;  Rose/ Ed Wiskowski vs Roddy Piper/ Rick Martel Wiskowski's bumps have to be seen to be believed. Rose is still in his ridiculous mask/wig combo after getting his head shaved. Fuck it, this is one of the best matches of the 80s.  Rose/Curt Hennig vs Dynamite Kid/Assassin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-h_2DTk_zM Babyface Buddy (!). Hennig was really at his best as a face.  Ed Wiskowski vs Rick Martel Wiskowski deserves more props. Martel was really at his best as a face.  Buddy Rose turns face! I absolutely love this. The fans are so overjoyed that all the kids storm the ring to hug Buddy and congratulate him for finally joining the good guys. Proper goosebumps stuff. Joey Joe Joe Jr
Steen, Adam Cole and the Young Bucks are now doing a group called Mount Rushmore, or something. Â The two promos I've seen so far have been pretty entertaining. Here's one.
