Can't put this in any other thread so it gets what I'm sure will be a thread of the year contender.

So I'm clearing shit out of my flat in anticipation of a house move that will hopefully happen within a year. I've got a load of clothes that are unwearable - stuff that's got holes in or the zip's broke etc. I don't want to just chuck it in a dumpster, I'd prefer to recycle it.

Searched online for places that do it and all I'm getting is charity shops that will only take stuff they can put on the shelves. Is there anywhere that specialises in recycling old fabric and that and, importantly, do home pick-ups? Because it's the summer holidays and I'm housebound.

Book a collection slot, they'll turn up, give them the stuff in bin bags and they take it away. That's it.

Smashing, thanks. Our laziness at just leaving stuff around is shocking. The wardrobe is heaving with shite we haven’t worn in years.

This topic has reminded me to get rid of a load of crap I haven't worn in forever.

If it's stuff that's perfectly wearable, you might as well put them up on Vinted and get some cash for them. Of course, if you can't be arsed, obvious answer is charidee shops.
