But yeah it's looking like yet another shoveled out yearly sequel even if there is a weird new mode where 50 people online can walk around this Sims like island, there's some effort put in to it but I'm sure it'll get old quick. Plus it's totally going to be pay to win/pay real money to get anything as it's based on the City from the NBA game which is very predatory.

This sort of thing is in the 2K NBA games and it's absolute garbage.

New Jack is in the game which is mad. They said a celebrity to be announced. I’m guessing iShowSpeed?

I hope they have Abyss’ great TNA theme and not some generic rip off.

Bull Nakano is a great addition.

Game is already out of date with all the released wrestlers that are in it.

I'm going to hold off for a few months until the community creations are all sorted.

I only have the older console in the PS4, and honestly I'm fine with that as the island idea sounded interesting, but now I know it's yet another cash grab I'm okay missing out on that with it only being newer gen that gets it. 

I'll buy it as I do every year, I remember going out of my way to get the Ric Flair deluxe edition with all the extras, now the games are so lackluster, I wouldn't care beyond the standed edition. 

 

The community creations each year are generally the best part of every game.

I have not played a wrestling game since probably 2K14 but I must admit this (and even last years Wrestlemania edition) has kinda got me interested in playing one again, are the newer versions east to get into? Is it just a load of button mashing?

Pretty easy to be fair, very similar across the years. Usually get it with in ten mins tops.

It’s the inclusion of Billy Gunn that I’m surprised at. Did he quietly leave AEW when The Acclaimed broke up?

No that’s right. It stands for One Night Stand. Apparently he’s the best lay you can get for a one off hook up.

No we had this conversation with Upper Deck when we spoke to them on our podcast. Billy Gunn has both a WWE Legends Deal and an AEW  "active" contract the same as Jake The Snake so it allows them to have figures, cards, merch, games with both sides. It's a very unique position tbh
