2025 predictions

- AEW will do a hard reset at least twice more

- Both Cody and Roman Reigns will turn heel. 

- Takeshita will win the AEW World Title. 

May add more in a bit.

Takeshita and Omega will both feud against each other and be a tag team, likely against The Bucks. This will all happen over both AEW and NJPW.

Punk will get cancelled.

Jamie Hayter will move to WWE.

K It seems the secret to keeping fragile Phil overground, underground, injury free, is to let him wrestle once every 3 months. It’s only taken him a few years to realise, but long may it continue.

- AEW will continue very much the same, some massive high points with lots of missed opportunities. The matches will continue to be excellent but crowds won't get much bigger.

- WWE's in ring quality will get worse. They will do more "cinematic" stuff. They will continue to be massively popular but signs of staleness will start popping up near the end of the year.

- A number of AEW people will make the jump to WWE and do not much of note.

- ROH will sign a TV deal. The shows will be rubbish.

After a bit of a mental 2024 I think 2025 will be quite quiet in comparison.

-  Vince McMahon forms a new company, ostensibly not to do wrestling. By years end, does wrestling.

Yeah, this would be the most WWE thing ever. Pretend its a reincarnation of the Big Gold Belt title that Hunter monopolised (it isn't) which in turn continued the lineage of the WCW World title, which everyone loves to pretend was a continuation of the NWA title lineage (it wasn't).

I wonder when his contract expires? I’m going to predict that Hobbs jumps to WWE, on the off-chance it’s this year. Same goes for Wardlow.

• The Rock will headline Wrestlemania and it will be underwhelming
• Cena's retirement run will start off great, but will tail off by the end
• Daniel Bryan will wrestle again and take some kind of stupid, unnecessary bump

Wardlow currently has a long term injury and Hobbs has only just come back. With the tacked on injury time I doubt either will be going anywhere in the next year.

Ah, I didn’t realise Wardliw was out hurt. I’d put two and two together and made five, assuming it was similar to Starks and the Lucha bros being frozen out ahead of their apparent departures.
