RoryFice
I'd like to put it on record that I was certain that I was going to predict all the scores correctly this weekend.

I actually did a prediction of the Premier League, chucked the Old Firm in this afternoon etc. I'd currently have 4 points with 2 to play. Fog Dude
Right, lots to catch up on, and a fair few complications due to the downtime so let's take it bit by bit: What actually happened The results went into the opening post this past Saturday night once the forum was back up. From what I can tell the boards went kaput well into Saturday of the previous week, which was ample time for people to get their picks in so I'm gonna count @Vegeta as having missed a week. Sorry if that seems harsh. In a move that would've sent Bubba Dudley into ecstasy a quarter of a century ago, we finally have a table. TildeGuy got his D2D right as Chelsea emphatically ran away with the second half at Molineux. Everyone else who played disagreed with him, which meant a shedload of bonus points. Don't be dismayed by the scale of the 20-point lead since nobody else has had their first D2D turn so far. While Tilde isn't in a false position and deserved top spot, it's worth noting that his nearest challenger ultimo would've been the best performer without those bonuses. He did take advantage of the bonus rules himself, mind you, since the randomly selected 'wildcard' match turned out to be #3, Saints-Forest, and he was the sole participant to get the exact score from that fixture. Because it's been a hot minute since the games took place for that round, I won't bother rounding up the other eight on this occasion. === What would've happened Last time something like this disrupted our momentum, I think we still let the "phantom" round keep its number, rather like Red Dwarf series 9. So that's what we'll do again in this instance. Luckily there was no D2D due in the missing week, so we're not behind on those. We were gonna have 5 EPL matches (including Newcastle-Spurs and Man U-Liverpool, obviously), the Old Firm derby, two French games, Sporting-Porto and the Feyenoord-Ajax fixture which, fortunately for us, was called off due to a Dutch police strike so that would've been void anyway. In terms of potential performances, sounds like Bent Wookie dodged a bullet there! === What's gonna happen Today was gonna be the day (why does that sound familiar all of a sudden?) for the cut-off to get D2D picks DMed to me. Owing to the disruption I'm going to extend that deadline by a fortnight so you now have until the evening of the 18th of this month to sort that out. Please refer to the bullet points in this post from the sign-up thread if you're unsure what to do. Since we don't know if there are 8, 9 or 10 people playing, we clearly can't make the FPL Cup group stage draw yet. It also means the first set of pool phase meetings that I'd pencilled in for this weekend will be slotted in somewhere between November and March instead. The good news is that since I'd earmarked this coming week for the FPL, it means there's no D2D and it's now just an ordinary round as well. The bad news is it's a men's international round just as the club season was getting going. And the WSL still hasn't started either. Nonetheless, I've managed to cobble together a card which will go into the opening post in just a tick.
Vegeta
Yeah I will be in for the season Between being busy and on holiday and the forum going down been a bit everywhere, but will be back, your decision is not harsh at all others made their picks so it's only fair. Thanks for continuing to run this each year.
