Paid Members Monkee Posted November 16, 2024 Paid Members Posted November 16, 2024 (edited) Only just caught up (been out) but I won’t spoiler anything just yet. All I’ll say is AJ’s gone up massively in my estimations for calling out Marcello in his interview. Telling him that his words were offensive particularly to women was gold. He tried to say he’s “had experiences” or some bullshit but AJ snapped back, told him they weren’t going to go into that and his behaviour was not OK. His face was a picture - a cross between an embarrassed little boy being told off [by a woman] and a grown man angry at being called out on live TV [by a woman]. Let’s hope that’s the last we’ll see of him. Edit: I’ve now watched Late and Live too and I’m loving how Segun’s been put in his place twice - in relation to putting all the flirting on Hanah (babes is not happy in the slightest, literally waving her champagne glass all over the place, etc. etc.), and in relation to the “red witch” comments. Danny Beard is a legend. Segun’s face was a picture. I’m loving how the men are being called out on their behaviour towards women. Edited November 16, 2024 by Monkee Quote

She’d be perfectly fine by herself. Emma Willis is still the best host they’ve ever had, though. Having said that, they kind of failed when it came to Sarah, Nathan and Ali. As far as I’m aware, Sarah wasn’t asked about ‘stop the gloats’. Nathan wasn’t asked about his comments towards Khaled regarding Palestine and I think Ali should have been pressed on her treatment of Khaled, obsessively spreading a narrative about him that was unpleasant to watch. Paid Members Monkee Posted November 16, 2024 Paid Members Posted November 16, 2024 I didn’t see Sarah’s interview but I saw a lot of complaints about last night. I think there were too many evictions all at once and there wasn’t enough time to properly interview all the evictees. There was a brief mention of Nathan’s comments about Khaled in the clips which resulted in some awkward faces but it wasn’t really brought up in the interviews. And Ali was asked about it in her interview and she tried to explain (wriggle out of it?) but they quickly moved on it the next thing. I’d also like to have seen more of Hanah called out on her bitchiness more. I think she was a horrible housemate and wouldn’t trust her as far as I could throw her. But, apart from the whole Segun thing, I think she got off pretty lightly too even with her involvement in the Red Witch conversation. Quote
Chili Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 (edited) Got a lovely message off Emma apologising to me for making me watch Big Brother. Delighted she placed high and everyone seemed to like the mad fucker. Edited November 16, 2024 by Chili Quote
Paid Members Kamran Posted November 16, 2024 Paid Members Posted November 16, 2024 I was surprised Marcello came 2nd and disappointed with Ali winning but not surprised, Emma would have been my winner. It was a weird final, they rushed most of the interviews. They kept bringing up Segun's chat about Hanah with Khaled and as much as I get why they did it they didn't have to keep banging on about it (into Late & Live). They did cover Sarah's comment about the gloats in her eviction interview (on Tuesday's Late & Live) but it was all very quick. Hanah's interview was the worst, they literally just mentioned the Segun chat and then it was her best bits. I noticed your comment about her being bitchy Monkee but I didn't think she was that bad. The atmosphere on Late & Live seemed a little tense with them going on about the Segun stuff and Ali being called out for lying to Emma, a few of the housemates looked unhappy. What I'd really love is for them to do a reunion a week or two from now where they can discuss everything more in-depth with all the housemates after they've all seen the show but that never seems to happen. Paid Members Thunderplex Posted November 16, 2024 Paid Members Posted November 16, 2024 Marcello is a hideous excuse for a man. Meet quite a few like him through work, self centred , never wrong and really cannot handle being picked up on things. Very childish. Ali is amazingly attractive, but her personality is non existent. Hannah’s voice just made my ears bleed. Babe this, babe that, fuck off! Shaggun (not his name, but my wife called him that in error and it’s been a giggle ever since) is a simpleton. Nathan amused me to a point, but the true winner this year was Emma. Funny as hell. Quote

Paid Members Monkee Posted November 22, 2024 Paid Members Posted November 22, 2024 Wow, I’m really surprised that Emma only got 12.12% of the total votes. She deserved way more than that. Quote
Paid Members Thunderplex Posted November 22, 2024 Paid Members Posted November 22, 2024 Me too, especially against that bell end. Quote
RedTwoster Posted November 23, 2024 Posted November 23, 2024 Ali had an online fan base that would have voted for her even if she killed and ate one of the other housemates. I didn’t want her to win as she could be very unpleasant, and I suspect if Khaled had made it to the final, he’d have run her close. I don’t understand why anyone would vote for Marcello, though. RedTwoster Posted April 7, 2025 Posted April 7, 2025 How on earth did they get Mickey Rourke to agree to do Celebrity Big Brother? His entrance was very uncomfortable though, with borderline sexual harassment on AJ. I’m not sure I’ll end up watching, it seems like it has the potential to be an unpleasant watch given his behaviour, in spite of having a strong line-up. Quote
Matthew Posted April 7, 2025 Author Posted April 7, 2025 I was more bewildered how they got the rights to HHH’s theme for his entrance VT. Very good lineup this year though. Quote

Yeah, it was odd to hear that song being used for someone else. It’s definitely a good line-up, but I’d be stunned if we didn’t have a walkout within the first week. Rourke strikes me as a ‘good on paper’ casting, given his behaviour on launch night. Incredibly creepy. Quote
Merzbow Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 This has to be someone from here, far too many wrestling references and a total Jungle Cats mark. Both parts have made for some good Easter watching. Quote
